The Brita Maxtra+ water filter cartridge is ideal for fresh filtered water for up to 4 weeks.
It protects against limescale deposits and reduces substances that alter taste, such as chlorine.
Additionally, it permanently absorbs metals like lead and copper and is environmentally friendly.

Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Best price and no shipping costs. To recycle, you can remove the activated carbon from inside and use it as fertilizer in soil, and the plastic in the blue bin.
The product seems correct and complete, but it is not accompanied by the expiration date indicated on its cardboard packaging, and this is because the filters come, yes, inside their classic plastic sealed packaging, but loose inside a bag. This of course raises serious doubts about the quality of the product, as you cannot know in any case whether the filter has expired or not. Otherwise, the price-to-quantity ratio is clearly very good, and if the above health issue did not arise, it would be a very good choice.
The filters are very good! The only issue was that one of the ones I ordered came damaged, with the activated charcoal pellets coming out of the filter.
Nice. I broke some imitation filters, and they didn't work. I tried alternatives, no result. Eventually the original works great.
Very good quality materials. However, attention is needed in cleaning the filter before installation, it should be placed in a basin with water. Very good agitation and rinsing. At least three times. Then place it in the pitcher and fill it twice. Ready!!
The only filter that truly improves the water. 68 out of 158.
Very expensive for what it offers.
I found the original Brita jug, the Philips filter with a big price difference at the supermarket, which also has a much better flow (= faster filtering) of the water.
Are the two filters equally effective? Difficult question: Anyway, I haven't noticed any difference in taste or cleanliness of the jug's water.
I have been using these filters for 5 years.
They are among the best on the market.
When you use them, you can even taste the difference in the water.
It is a classic water filter for Brita pitchers. It does exactly what any other pitcher filter does. There is definitely an improvement in water quality, but depending on usage, it needs to be replaced within a maximum of one month, less if used regularly. The very good thing is definitely the price, which is much lower than what I would have bought it for from a supermarket.
Although I have been using the Brita jug and Brita Maxtra+ replacement filters for over 4 years, with the latest purchase of filters, I noticed that there are black particles remaining in the water. The particles are more easily visible in a white transparent glass. I have never seen anything like this before. I hope it is a problem with this specific order... otherwise, I will have to stop using it
The product is relatively good (but the pitcher is a bit bulky, meaning it doesn't fit in our refrigerator door). It filters the water relatively quickly. As for the negatives, I would say that it significantly changes the taste of the water, which initially bothered me, but after about 1 month of use, I got used to it.
The product is very good, easy to use. It is large in size. Filters quickly. The only negative is that it changes the taste of the water... it leaves a bitterness (shall I say?). This difference in taste is what concerns me about recommending it somewhere... or buying it again..!
It does an excellent job in taste and water purification. We are a family of 4 who consume a lot of water both for drinking and cooking, and we usually change one filter per month. It is definitely worth it for the fact that you save plastic bottles and carrying. However, I have not tried filters from any other brand or a faucet filter to see if a more economical product does the same job. In any case, I highly recommend it
After several years of using it, suddenly the filters started giving a bitter taste to the water. I spoke with the company and they told me to do some tests, but they didn't yield any results. I threw away the pitcher, the filters, and finally felt relieved
Those who know about water filters avoid small replacements. Apart from the 5 times higher cost, they have a lifespan of 100 liters and their performance deteriorates earlier. The result is bad water and high cost due to constant changes. Water filters should have the following characteristics in my opinion:
- Size 10'' (above or below the counter if there is no space)
- Filtration capacity of 0.5 micron to retain microorganisms, chemicals, microplastics.
**With 10€, an annual filter of 3000 liters can be purchased (personally, I change it every 6 months for safety).
I use these specific filters in the pitcher I have to filter the water I use for making espresso and coffee in general (Greek, filter, espresso, etc). The filtered water doesn't have a great taste, but it greatly improves the taste and quality of the coffee and "spares" my coffee maker. I have been using them for a while and I am quite satisfied. The six-pack is the best value for money.
Quite a good filter, I have been using it for many years and the taste of the water is really good.
The best! I use it for both my family and my dogs, with a change every 3 weeks per bowl, I am very satisfied.
I have been using it for over 10 years for drinking water and cooking. Certified for household use, costing 3.5-4 € per month! Choose the option: Price per piece... For the best possible offer.
It really does what it says - zero limescale in an area with very hard water. Prefer the package with 6 or 12 pieces.
It saved us from the water salts. It doesn't have any other noticeable effect on tap water (e.g. taste change, odor removal, etc). Maybe because we never had a serious problem. Unfortunately, it doesn't last long, and the replacement cost is significant. So we only use it for drinking, not for cooking.
The filters are given loose without a box, and the expiration date of the filters is not visible, unlike other packaging of the same filters that I have purchased in the past...
Perfect water and nice packaging, I didn't know there was a 6-pack and I've been buying only the x3 for so long. Perfect! and a much more economical package!
I have been using them for several years and I am quite satisfied. I cannot drink tap water because it smells like chlorine.
Very good product for up to 5 euros/piece. It lasts for 1 month, in an area with a lot of water faucet problems, making the taste more enjoyable. Of course, it doesn't provide the best retention of bad elements, maybe it even retains good elements, but for a family of 5 members, you can keep it for more than 4 weeks, up to 7-8 weeks at most. Fill and empty the jug 3 times, with a new filter, and then drink
Very good filtering, especially for odor and salts.
I have been using it in the coffee maker for 6 months and I haven't seen any salts in the jug at all. Without the filter, the salts would appear within 2 weeks.
The taste it leaves is completely neutral without any odors.
Very helpful packaging of 4 filters for a jug that its use has completely changed the habit and taste of tap water compared to before.
According to the manufacturer, it is meant for one month of clean water, which makes it quite expensive for the 5 Euros it costs.
I have been using them for about a year now! I have no words!! The water is crystal clear and has an incredible taste!! The salts in the kettle and espresso machine disappeared!!
I think the BRITA filter changes the taste of the water and makes it a bit smoother, not only at the beginning of use but also afterwards.
Very good and economical way for clean water, the water from the jug, I use it in the coffee machine and in the kettle and I don't have any salts in the tanks.
I have been using these filters for 20 years now!
Perfect water, low cost, and I believe there is nothing better for their price!
