User-friendly mobile phone with large keys for easy typing and a 2.2" color screen. It supports T-Flash memory and two SIM cards, and it includes a camera, flashlight, FM radio, Bluetooth connection for wireless pairing with other devices, and an SOS button on the back of the device for emergency calls.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Positive aspects:
1. It is what it is, a simple mobile phone - for calls and messages - with a target group of elderly people.
2. Very good battery life (USB charging)
3. Good call volume (ringtone) that can be heard by people with hearing problems.
4. Good call volume during communication (speaker/microphone).
5. Large buttons with voice announcement of the dialed numbers.
6. Good screen (for phone purposes) with large fonts and good brightness.
7. Extra features (panic button, speed dial, flashlight, dual SIM, Bluetooth, good radio, etc.)
Negative aspects (for what it is and for the target group it addresses):
1. Cheap plastic parts...
2. The elderly person will need help with initial settings (e.g. time, date, contacts, ringtone, etc.) and a small usage lesson as the menu is not as simple as it seems.
Overall, a good purchase if you know what you want and this is a simple mobile phone for elderly people who want to easily receive and make calls, have a long-lasting battery, easily hear incoming calls, easily read the name or number of the caller, and converse without problems...
Fake construction. The display only works in default settings. Therefore, during navigation, you have to guess the title of each option, as the screen displays only what fits. For the same reason, you cannot understand the order of messages. Obviously, this only makes it difficult for the elderly instead of facilitating them. As for the quality of photos and videos, I don't need to mention that they are terrible, but that's not what this phone and its price are meant for. Needless to say, I wouldn't buy it again.
Unfortunately, there are few options for devices with large buttons... so we are forced to choose from these! Like everyone, we got it for elderly people. A simple phone, good battery life, loud ringtone, screen etc. okay average (not intended for more uses)... I encountered very poor sound quality with the earpiece, resulting in difficulty communicating with your interlocutor, let alone an elderly person. I returned it as defective... they sent it back to me as "repaired"... result 30 euros in the trash! Do some research in physical stores that also support the warranty of the products at least... don't put yourself through this hassle here!
In the end, it is not that easy to use mainly because of the screen that displays the menu text and messages in a single line for you to read, also the battery lost its performance relatively quickly.
For elderly people, it is a one-way street.
It has everything an elderly person needs to communicate easily.
It sounds very loud since I have a father with hearing problems.
He hasn't missed a single call since I got it for him.
Ideal for seniors with a relatively large screen, strong sound on the ringtone, also satisfactory speakerphone with call shortcuts to selected contacts with the ability to add photos of the people for easy recognition
For a person who wants to see large letters and numbers, the bell is just right; it is loud
The phone is the worst! Already after 2 months of operation it broke down and does not work. Better give a little more money and choose a similar slightly more expensive one!
After 3 years of use and a battery replacement halfway through, the headset is now broken. It definitely earned its money
Simple, convenient, and its battery lasts several days. I didn't know and bought it for 45 Euros. In the comments, I didn't read that someone has had it for a long time and it holds up; on the contrary, I read that it breaks. Downsides: in many places it has no signal, it has low communication volume (it doesn't sound good), maybe it can be turned up with some button. 20/11/2024 A year and a half later, it works just fine, with a few minor drops it didn't suffer anything.
I bought it for my elderly mother. I saw that she liked it, heard calls well and found it easy to use. That's enough for me, so I bought it.
It serves its purpose 100%.
The SOS button is very convenient and the speaker is very good. Also, the buttons are large and easily distinguishable
In August 22nd, I bought something for less than 30€, only for calls. After 4 months, it started to shut down on its own and on the 5th month, I threw it away and bought something better.
Mobile phone for three months only. I bought it because of the large buttons for the elderly, but after three months it turned off and never turned back on. I tried plugging it in to see if it was a battery issue, but nothing happened. Another downside is its charger, which is completely different from what you've seen so far. I have over 10 different chargers from older phones and none of them fit. Zero value for money.
P.S. It never fell down, minimal use.
I bought two for my elderly parents. Both phones had a faulty earpiece after 5 months, and the speaker could only be heard with the phone on speaker mode. I wouldn't buy them again for a 5-month lifespan
During its first use, the charging suddenly stopped and since then it does not charge. It was returned and I am waiting for a replacement
A relatively good phone, but the user manual is a bit misleading when it comes to stored numbers.
I got it for my elderly father, it broke within a year, and I got him the same one again, it suits him.
For the money and the work it is called to do, it is very good. I would characterize it as honest without many demands that do not exist in case it is intended for the elderly. Good battery life in simple use.
I got it for my grandmother about 3 months ago. The earpiece broke and she can't hear us, also it turns off by itself!
The worst choice I could have made!
I got it for my father, who needed a simple mobile phone, just to receive calls or make them himself. He is very satisfied and if something happens to the device, I will definitely buy him the same model again. It is very economical and worthy of the reason we needed it for...!!
A very good phone for the elderly. It has up to 8 speed dial buttons, a loudspeaker, large letters, and a backlit screen. Perfect for older people. It locks with a button on the side very easily and also has a flashlight.
Excellent value for money. The menu is easy to navigate and the font is easily readable in Greek. It is perfect for seniors. Additionally, the phone unlock button on the side is very helpful for people with larger hands.
What you need for an elderly person's phone use (I got it for my mother). Having tried other phones in the past, it's the best one I've gotten for this specific use. It's worth every penny.
I got it for my father in September. It has a strong ringtone, but the SOS button can be accidentally pressed when the phone is in your pocket. The battery lasts long and it has a strong flashlight. Unfortunately, coffee spilled on the phone and the screen immediately stopped working. It turned white and was unresponsive. When you put it on speakerphone, for some reason, the person on the other line can't hear you.
From the first days, my mother was not satisfied as the battery runs out quickly. We never found an option for quick call as my mother wanted. It shuts down suddenly. The button for closing does not always work.
It is clearly a mobile phone aimed at elderly people and those who have no relationship with technology. It has been purchased for such a person, so I will not judge (especially for the money it was purchased) the quality of the screen/camera/video.
It took me a little longer than expected to set it up at first, but after that stage it is an extremely simple mobile phone for basic use (calls and maybe some texts).
Strong speaker, strong earpiece, easy way to quickly call contacts, easy-to-use flashlight, plays radio without using hands-free.
It has not been purchased for so long that I can still judge durability, but I still consider it a value-for-money choice and something that an older person can use comfortably.
I gave it to my grandmother. It's great for her to pick up and make phone calls. I recommend it for the elderly.
I got it for my grandfather as it has large letters and numbers, which is suitable for his use of only making calls.
Unacceptable mobile phone! 1) It doesn't have a headphone jack and forces you to listen in speaker mode! 2) It doesn't have an alarm application! The sound in speaker mode is low!
