Facial serum with hyaluronic acid by The Ordinary, suitable for all skin types. A basic structural component of the body, hyaluronic acid effectively reduces the appearance of unwanted wrinkles, deeply hydrates the skin, and rejuvenates the skin. Thanks to its composition, the serum is quickly absorbed and penetrates deeper into the skin compared to facial creams.
Apply morning and night to the entire face on clean and dry skin.

I use it on damp skin because hyaluronic acid tends to absorb the moisture from the face. If it doesn't find any other moisture, it will also strip the natural oils, leaving the skin dehydrated in the long run. (Note for those who use it incorrectly, it requires damp skin.)
Overrated ingredient that, if used in high concentrations (which almost any other cream you use contains due to the hype), will cause dehydration. It is better to avoid it, including in serums, among other things. Almost all moisturizers contain it.
However, in general, hyaluronic acid does not provide any significant deep hydration, it is superficial and temporary. So, okay, for what it is, this ingredient is also provided by this particular company.
25 years old with oily and normal skin, and often dehydrated cheeks. I bought hyaluronic acid for the first time to hydrate my face because my skin needs it due to my age and the summer season. After a week of use, I noticed that my skin was more hydrated and radiant, and the fine lines around my eyes and lips had greatly diminished. In other words, this product achieved its purpose. I used it in the morning and evening, initially on damp skin as hyaluronic acid requires for better absorption, and then continued with my routine.
However... whether I immediately applied the next serum or moisturizer or let it dry for 10 minutes, whenever I applied the next product, even if I carefully patted it in, the hyaluronic acid would peel off. Many times, I would wake up in the morning and see small white flakes on my face, as if I had peeled off the hyaluronic acid. Of course, I wasn't worried because I had heard from a girl on Greek YouTube that I follow (Olga) that she also had the same issue and it left white residue on her face.
Therefore, no matter how well it works for me, I can't go around looking like I have peeling skin, and even though it's a good product, I think it will be difficult for me to repurchase it. I envy those who have no issues with it because it does a great job and has a fantastic price.
It causes irritation and redness on the skin. I threw it away after 4 applications. I definitely wouldn't buy it again and I wonder what it could contain to make my face peel.
