I bought it because my 30-year-old Philips broke! Unbelievable. I preferred a model with a cord because I hate everything being rechargeable batteries nowadays and constantly having to charge something...
Visually and ergonomically, it is impeccable. It has 3 heads that adapt to the shape of the face. It is easy to clean (so far I haven't dropped water on it, I clean it with a foam brush). It has a long cord (pleasant surprise), but the plug end is quite big compared to the previous machine and makes it difficult to store in the existing hard case.
Also, I noticed that it doesn't drop trimmed hairs in the sink (like my previous one did, and I had to clean them up), but obviously keeps them all inside. That's good.
As for the negatives, I will note more prominently the absence of a carrying case (they have cut them all for the sake of cost, luckily I have the old one and solved the problem). Also, it doesn't have any adjustments, although I'm not very sure about their effectiveness when they exist (my old one had them).
Let's get to the point, its function: its noise is a bit too low, to the point where you think it's a battery-powered model and it will leave you at any moment as it runs out of charge. I remembered the dialogues of the late Vengos in the movie where he was selling electrical appliances and he talked about the "Pageton" refrigerators, that they have to make noise so you know they are working...
Initially, I was afraid that it was "lifeless" and wouldn't shave more than a day's worth of beard. Today, I shaved a two-day beard. Like all electric shavers, I think it doesn't shave very deeply and requires repeated passes (2-3 times). That doesn't bother me at all. I need it to cut most of the hair and not struggle with a razor (it's not necessary to use a razor, from what I saw). That's how I did it with the old one. The pleasant thing is that it is ultimately more effective than you think based on its sound.
In conclusion, for the €42 I bought it for, I am satisfied so far, although it may still be early (1 week). I just hope it lasts over time because if I compare it to the all-metal old one, I will have to cry...
If necessary, I will definitely come back.

I will come back after days of use to correct the remarks about skin irritation. In the end, it affects the skin, as others say. Specifically, it doesn't irritate my skin (make it red, that is), but it... peels it!!! and then it stings a little. This is significant as a negative aspect, and I deduct a star and overall rating... it's a shame that my old one is 30 years old and I can't find spare parts to fix it.
It shaves very well and quietly!!! The handle is perfect. My facial hair shaves easily and I have already done 3 shaves after charging. I am not disappointed.
For my grandfather who can no longer manage with razors, it's great. He can do it on his own and I no longer find him like a shipwreck every week when I visit him...
It is a satisfactory machine. Lightweight with a beautiful design. It cleans easily, and it is also waterproof. As for facial shaving, it shaves well but requires passing over the same spot several times. One can shave approximately four times after a full charge. I bought it for 31 euros. I recommend it
