  I used a waist bag for about 5 years and a fabric shoulder bag for about 20 years, half the price of this one.

  Positives:
  1. Several compartments... one external compartment (where the phone is in the photo), 3 internal compartments with zippers (the last compartment also has an internal zipper for storing small items), and 1 rear external compartment with a zipper.
  2. The zippers open very smoothly.
  3. Incredible texture of the leather.
  4. Quality construction of zippers and strap.
  5. Satisfactory magnetic closure (in general, don't have high expectations for the strength of magnets in any bag)... it doesn't open even slightly like in other bags.
  6. I put and comfortably fit... 2 phones, a wallet, tissues, baby wipes, keys (a keychain with 8 keys), a small hand sanitizer, a notebook about 3/4 the size of a notepad, a mini flashlight about the size of 3 columns in thickness, and it can fit quite a few more things... definitely chargers and probably a glasses case.

  Negatives:
  1. I would have liked it to have a little more height... it doesn't fit the iPad for 2-3 inches.

  Although it has about double the price of a simple fabric shoulder bag... I believe the quality of construction justifies this cost. I have only had it for 2-3 days... I hope and believe that I will be able to keep it for at least 4-5 years. I will come back if I need to provide any additional updates... I hope only for good...!!!

  After using it for a week, I have noticed the following:
  The visible outer surfaces are made of leather. However, when you lift the "lid" of the bag, the bottom surfaces are made of "faux leather".
  Also, the fabric divider between compartments (which is subjected to wear from keys, etc.) should be more durable
