After 5 years of use, I can say that they are very satisfactory and high-quality. Thanks to Razer's Synapse 3, you can do wonders, from adjusting colors and synchronizing with other Razer RGB devices, to adjusting the bass, clarity, and microphone of the headphones. It has quite good sound isolation, as well as the microphone. The microphone is very good and sounds almost professional.
On the downside: The top part of the headphones starts to wear out over time. It's not a big problem, but it affects the aesthetics of the headphones. Also, something known about old Razer devices is that the volume adjustment wheel malfunctions after a few months and does its own thing.

I suspect it's a cable issue, so I tested to see if it's a problem with the sound card and not the headphones by giving them to a friend with a gaming PC, and they experienced the same problems. DO NOT BUY. However, when they do work, they're decent, but they never work properly. I'm waiting for a warranty to see if anything can be done. The microphone is okay

If you are still reading, you are probably not a fanboy of Razer. The headphones indeed have many positives, such as their build quality, the comfort they provide, the sturdiness and durability of their frame, and the good retractable microphone. On the other hand... they also have their negatives.
Compared to the SXFI Gamer by Creative, they are worse: They only offer USB connection, they do not have a detachable cable, their sound quality is noticeably inferior (even if out of the box they are flatter), and finally, they are not as customizable. On top of that, they are 20 euros more expensive.
But it doesn't stop there. Two pairs that I received for review had background noise in the speakers, making it clear that the integrated sound card does not have proper isolation. I analyzed the signal that is heard on my oscilloscope and saw that it is of electronic nature, possibly from a crystal/transistor/coil. Also, since I opened them up, I discovered that the integrated circuit used in the sound card, the heart of it all, actually costs only $5.76 retail. I did not expect a headphone at 120 euros to have such a cheap chip as its base, but this explains a lot regarding the sound quality and background noise.
I converted the headphones to analog, practically completely removing the circuit board and directly connecting the speakers with a 3.5mm audio jack, and the headphone soared! The noise that was present disappeared, the sound quality improved tremendously, and I can say that the headphones became even flatter. It's really a shame that Razer took such a good base and left it unused, using such a poor sound card... Unfortunately, the headphone is not worth the money it asks for at all, so I recommend choosing the SXFI by Creative.

Because I was looking for these or the Blackshark V2 (because I tried those too), don't even think about it, the Kraken Ultimate has superior sound, for me the Blackshark should be in the 80s max... and the Kraken Ultimate is much more comfortable compared to the Blackshark, they can be compared in comfort to their predecessor, the Electra V2 (maybe slightly better than the Electra). Yes, okay, is it worth the 120? ==> Yes, it's definitely worth it in every aspect, let's not forget that they also have the best microphone that Razer has released so far in headphones! The headphones have very good bass and not excessively loud like the old kraken that hurt your ears.. The sound, combined with THX Spatial audio, is a very good combination for competitive gamers.. In my opinion, they have a similar sound, although these have higher volume and you feel the sound more intensely. It takes some searching to be able to adjust them to your liking through Synapse, and although I am a bass lover, the Bass Boost with the right settings on the EQ is an exaggeration, as after a point you hear bass with a song and not a song with bass. The surround sound for gaming is better compared to the previous ones and gives you a better sense and perception of space, especially with THX activated. As for the microphone, I agree with all the previous reviews as it is unacceptable for the 130 euros you will spend. It's like talking on a wireless device in a war, but it does its basic job. They have good build quality made of metal and not the "cheap" plastic of similar headphones, although the leather material it has worries me as it will probably wear out after a period of time, just like it happened with my previous headphones, which were basically a copy-paste design of these. The noise cancelling is quite good and after hours of use, they are quite comfortable. Finally, I want to say that I am not an expert nor can I provide a more detailed evaluation. I express the opinion of an average user who uses them for gaming and music.

1. Incredible construction .. beautifully designed headphones and the RGB is fantastic.
2. The sound, especially with the Razer program, takes it to another level. These are the best headphones I've ever worn.
3. Comfort .. usually headphones bother me and I can't wear them for more than 1 hour. These headphones hardly bother me at all, and during the summer months, my ears don't sweat compared to others.
