  I made the purchase from a physical store, not through Scroutz. Nowhere on the packaging does it say that they are not wooden as shown on their box, and the quality is below average. They come out of their mold with a line on the base and they don't even sit properly on the surface.

  Obviously, if someone orders them from here, they will read that they are plastic. Nevertheless, I do not recommend them.

  Unfortunately, I am very disappointed. I ordered these specific chess pieces and the king arrived broken. The store accepted them back and replaced them with a different set. When I opened the new set that I received, I found the king broken again, so I asked for a refund.

  Very good pawns for their price. Ideal for a large chessboard.

  Two small observations:

  1) The box and the photo show white and brown pawns. However, the ones included in the box are white and black. This is not mentioned in the specifications. Good to know :)

  2) Some pawns have small marks on them, not from impacts (probably from the factory when they separate them). It doesn't affect their quality, they are barely noticeable, I just noticed it.

  Value for money at 8-9 euros.
