2) In the photo, the facade appears to be nickel or inox, but it is not!
3) The metal filter has no thickness at all, so it is natural that it does not retain fats.

I have no complaints about the extractor. It covers me without any issues so far in the approximately one and a half months that I have it and use it daily. It makes quite a bit of noise only on the third setting, but it absorbs just fine up to the second one, without being prohibitive on the third.
