there is no competitor at the same price! it is amazing and if you connect good speakers and an amplifier or good headphones you hear a lot of detail...for the reason that I use it for synth and recording vocals or guitar it is almost excellent!

I have gone through almost all the cards of the same category as the MOTU M2. I consider it the best of all, by far! I use it for remastering and its quality is top-notch!

Coming from Scarlett 2i2 3rd Gen - Much better and much lower latency without glitching like the focusrite did, and with Loopback I can record videos and audio simultaneously without needing to change the Motu USB Asio driver - Used in FL Studio.

It provides better power to my headphones (DT 880 Pro) while the focusrite needed extra amplification with a headphone amplifier. Very autonomous and high-quality construction, easy driver installation, and the audio spectrum is very useful and better than the colored indicators of the focusrite.

I connected the Adam T5V with balanced cables from the back.
I connected the NT1-a microphone from the front.

Everything is wonderful. I will come back if I encounter any problems, although I don't think I will.

I switched from the Scarlett 2i2 2nd generation to the Motu M2. Another level. Without many frills and software complications, straight forward, killer preamps, super headroom, crystal clear. Oh, and beautiful

I work with Yamaha HS7 in Cubase and the result is quite good.
It doesn't freeze anywhere and the card never.
The installation is very easy, you just plug in the USB and it immediately recognizes it, no settings or anything.

Only the name MOTU shows the quality in this specific category of sound cards. Coming from the focusrite scarlet solo 2nd gen, I can confidently say that the motu m2 is on another level, as it doesn't glitch, doesn't have noise, and overall, in collaboration with ableton live 10, the latency dropped to 3ms from the 12ms that the focusrite had. The most important thing is that it doesn't increase the CPU usage.
