From the online market research I did, I concluded that it was the best within the price range I was looking for as a gift. There was a comment mentioning poor quality that concerned me. Fortunately, I saw it after the purchase. And I say fortunately because such a problem does not exist.

The set is wooden, with wooden pieces. The surface of the chessboard is not printed like some others I have seen, and this is a plus. Surely, there will be much more refined products, but they also have the corresponding price (double or more). Perhaps the other buyer has much higher standards.

For its price, it is very good, of good quality, and the pieces are particularly nice and of the right size. Inside, it has soft material and rubber bands for each piece, as well as a carrying handle. So it is suitable for transportation, although it is a bit big for that purpose. Also, it cannot be used as a backgammon board, and this may be a negative for some.
