This base, with exceptional design and very good construction quality, solved my MacBook 13' overheating problem in the summer, as well as providing overall support when I use it on a couch, bed, or elsewhere, such as on my lap. It has a stable grip on the laptop (with extra silicone pads) and most importantly, its edges are covered with fabric (and a soft filling inside) so that my hands can rest comfortably. For me, who has thrown away 2-3 similar products, this is finally the solution. It is worth every penny because it seems very sturdy.
