The new generation of Opinel pocket knives is ideal for all sea and mountain sports, such as climbing, alpine sports, paragliding, hiking, caving, sailing, canoeing, and other water activities.

The No.08 Outdoor features an 8.5 cm blade made of Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel with a thickness of 2.5 mm, providing great durability. This special blade has 2 new functional features:

• Serrated section for effectively and quickly cutting ropes.
• A hole for opening nautical keys with a diameter of 4 to 10 millimeters.

The new ergonomic handle is made from 2 materials: reinforced polyamide with fiberglass and elastic polyamide. These materials offer durability even in extreme temperatures, from -40 °C to + 80 °C, as well as in high humidity conditions.

The handle includes an integrated emergency whistle with a volume of 110 dB, which can be heard from over 300 meters away, as well as a synthetic lanyard.

The Virobloc safety ring prevents the blade from opening when closed and also prevents it from closing when open. Weight: 60g. Color: Fluo Green.
