Description

Why classic European type Akan

The European-style AKAN radiators excel in performance because the heating of the environment through conductivity is done by air, which smoothly diffuses into the daily circulation environment of people and thus disperses at a low speed. In contrast, for example, in panel-type radiators, the heated air is transferred at high speed through the meanders and directed towards the ceiling of the space where it remains until it cools down, dispersing a small percentage of its heating efficiency into the human environment.

Additionally, due to the large amount of water, they have high thermal capacity and, as a result, create a consistently pleasant heating environment that is not affected by fluctuations in the central supply and continues to provide warmth even after the central heating supply has stopped. The large amount of water contained in the radiators allows for a small change in the water outlet temperature from the inlet temperature, significantly improving performance. These are the reasons why we ensure significant energy savings.

Attica Metallurgy Radiators

The radiators from Metallurgy of Attica ensure ideal heating conditions because they provide 60% of the heat through conductivity and 40% of the heat through radiation. This exact ratio gives a pleasant feeling to people. They have the highest calorie output for the same volume compared to other types of radiators.

They are four-hole (4 holes with ½" threading). Each radiator comes with the corresponding support set. The support set can be placed on the radiator in any position that suits the needs and peculiarities of the space. They come with 1 ½" sealing cap and 1 ½" air vent valve, both brass and chrome-plated.

They are manufactured with the most modern machinery to ensure complete tightness and the longest possible operation.

Columns & Sections

It features 10 slices and each slice consists of 2 water columns.

The height between the holes is 90.5 cm while the total height is 99.5 cm.

How to choose the right radiator size?

It is very important to make the right choice of radiator depending on the dimensions of your space. The sizing of the radiators should be done by an engineer after studying the space and calculating losses. Incorrect selection of the radiator can lead to insufficient heating or excessive heating of the space, resulting in energy waste.

How is the calculation of radiator calories per square meter done?

A practical and simple way to calculate the required calories yourself is to multiply the height, width, and length of your room in meters. Then, multiply the result by the number 50, which approximately represents the potential losses.

However, be careful, this calculation method is indicative and does not replace the study that an engineer will conduct, which will be absolutely accurate.
