I found it at around €21 and bought two. Its size is quite convenient and it doesn't take up much space for 1.7l. However, let me mention some characteristics that are not mentioned:
• It has an indicator light, very discreet in the dark, but clearly visible when it lights up during the day.
• The built-in thermometer is a cooking thermometer and is very reliable.
• The water outlet does not have a filter, but it is perforated.
• The water level indicator is located inside the handle, which forces you to let go of the kettle to see how much water you have put in.
• Its height is about 21 cm and its width is 19cm & 22cm including the handle.
• You don't burn yourself when you take it out of boiling water no matter how high you hold the handle.
• Because it was mentioned in some reviews that you can stop it at any desired temperature due to the thermometer, it does not have any technology to regulate the temperature you want it to reach. You simply monitor the thermometer and lift it from the base at the desired temperature if you don't want the water to reach boiling point, for example, for tea.
• In the instructions for use, the manual states that before the first use, you should boil it twice and discard the water, and that if you want, you can add vinegar for better results. Let me prepare you that if you choose to add vinegar like I did, you will notice that as soon as the water reaches 100 degrees and boils, it will start to foam and spill out. This is expected and not a problem, and it happens because of the vinegar. After boiling with vinegar, it will be fine with plain water.
• It collects limescale, but not as much as plastic kettles, nor none at all like glass ones.
Overall, it is a quality kettle, except for its base which feels quite cheap to the touch, but personally, it doesn't bother me at all since it will be wet/dirty often.
If it doesn't have any leakage or rust issues, it is the most value-for-money stainless steel kettle on skroutz for January 2021.
P.S. In the photos, I have placed it next to a coffee jar for size comparison.
Chinese... Well, the kettle was purchased a month ago. The purchase criteria were its power, capacity, stainless steel interior, and appearance. I would say it was a bad purchase. The kettle is very affected by the minerals (only filtered water is used) resulting in it not reaching 100 degrees and stopping at 80-85, shutting off automatically, so it needs constant cleaning. The materials used are of very low quality, the color comes off with the slightest touch, and the plastic parts feel very "fake." The thermometer works well. I would not recommend it. There are much better kettles at the same cost.

Very nice and convenient kettle! It is not bulky, so it doesn't take up much space on the kitchen counter. It heats up water quickly and the thermometer it has is very helpful if, for example, you are making tea and want to achieve a specific temperature. I highly recommend it because it is also very beautiful!
I have had it for about a year, it hasn't had any issues. It heats up water quickly, so far I haven't had any problems with salts, etc. but okay, everyone's water plays a role too.
Honestly, the only negative thing is its base, which is truly the most awful thing I have seen. It is so fake, lightweight plastic and not even rounded enough at the bottom to avoid making an "ugly" annoying noise when it touches or drags on surfaces. I mean, if you have a sensitive table surface that hasn't been varnished yet, it will probably scratch it unless you move it really carefully (I experienced it, that's why I'm saying it... it took off a lot of color). For comparison... its cable is heavier than its base. Anyway, it's good, fast, and shows the temperature... but otherwise, I probably wouldn't buy it again because of its base.
Very fast boiling of water, does not easily catch salts and the temperature display dial is very helpful. I have been using it since April 2022.
The only negative aspect is that it easily gets scratched almost from the beginning when I bought it, resulting in not being very aesthetically pleasing.

In 3 months, the safety lock that closes when it reaches boiling broke. I tried to close it and the whole device was jammed, resulting in a burn.
I just bought it for the thermometer, I wouldn't buy it again. Its plastic parts have a smell and I don't find the switch user-friendly. The thermometer works fine.

Excellent economical choice for a kettle. The mechanical thermometer practically guarantees its longevity and overall the kettle is an amazing purchase for heating baby milk, for example. Bottled water, heating at the appropriate temperature (if you have a glass bottle, calculate 5 degrees higher per 100ml for heating the bottle) and that's it. No boiling and painful cooling to the right temperature, no external thermometers, no guessing about 40 or 50 degrees with the wrist, no doubts about the suitability of the milk or if it smells due to high dissolution temperature or if it is relatively insoluble or cold for the baby, etc. It is highly recommended for the aforementioned use. If you simply want to boil water at 100 degrees, you may find something better, bigger, with temperature preservation for a longer time, etc. (for ~300ml with a closed lid, it drops about 5 degrees every 20 minutes in winter, with an open lid, it drops about 5 degrees every 5 minutes). Note: of course, always make sure that there is enough water to cover the internal thermometer, otherwise you may get burned or spoil the milk, etc., with incorrect indication.
To begin with, I have to say that I received 2 of these kettles, the second one as a replacement for the first one, and in the end I returned both of them and got a Bosch kettle instead...! The first kettle that arrived had broken plastic pieces inside, which turned out to be from the moving parts of the kettle lid that opens in stages. The positive thing, and I acknowledge it, is that Gruppe has good customer service and they immediately assisted me by sending me a confirmation/document for the replacement of the kettle, which I returned to the store along with this document, and they sent me a new identical kettle. I had already used the first one a few times before discovering the broken plastic parts. The second one that arrived also had very small broken black plastic pieces inside the kettle, which also came from the lid, which this time was slightly broken at the edge, but there was no way I would accept a kettle with broken plastic parts and lid for the second time. Overall, the lid is of very poor quality and its plastics are terrible and visible. I don't think it would withstand the test of time. Also, when I wiped the inside of the lid with a paper, the first kettle I used released a little but noticeable black color. Full of unhealthy plastic parts of very poor quality, which I consider to be the weak point of the kettle. In the end, I returned the second one I received as it was brand new without using it at all, and I got a Bosch kettle with the same amount of money and I realized the difference in quality!!! I went through about 10 days of phone calls, emails, etc., but at least I returned it and got something of better quality.
As for the kettle's functionality, I can say that the thermometer is very convenient, but the water should be sufficient and above the metallic body of the thermometer, which is horizontal to the bottom of the kettle, so that it is submerged in the water and gives you an accurate reading. The kettle does not have a filter for minerals, and this is something you should know! Also, due to the thermometer, there is no easy access to the bottom of the kettle because it is in between. While I filled the kettle up to the maximum mark and let the water boil, at the end of boiling, a little water splashed out from its spout. So it is not safe to fill it up to the maximum mark. It looks nice and vintage, and it has a thermometer, but I definitely do not recommend it!!!
I bought it 6 months ago and it works like the first day. It heats up quickly, has very good build quality, and exceptional design.
Mar-22: Update after 11 months: it doesn't work anymore. I won't buy the same one again.
Apr-21: Very beautiful. The speed until boiling is average to good, but the temperature indicator helps to stop it earlier, for example, to wash dishes. Be careful how you empty it when it's boiling - steam rises towards the hand. I bought it because it's very beautiful and it is.
Beautiful design and good construction. The only problem I have noticed is that the handle gets very hot when you tilt the kettle to pour the water into the cup.
Very good and besides that, the thermometer is very helpful when you want a certain temperature.
A few things that haven't already been mentioned.
- The lid opens at a right angle, making it easy to fill the container.
- The cable length is 70 cm and can be wrapped under the base to reduce the excess length.
- The water level indicator is located right in front of the handle, which means it is not visible and there is a chance of accidentally touching it with your fingers and feeling a slight burn if the boiling temperature is close to 100 degrees Celsius (CAUTION: do not be alarmed and violently remove the vessel, as you may get burned).
- The kettle only opens and closes from the switch located on the handle. If you remove it from the base, the power supply to the kettle's resistance will be cut off, but it will be restored as soon as you place it back on the base without closing it from the switch in the meantime.
- The thermometer has a sensor that reaches the middle of the kettle's chamber, which may make it difficult to clean. The same goes for the fact that the water inlet is narrow for larger hands.
- The exterior is not suitable for scratching as it is painted and not bare metal like in other kettles.
- The thermometer is extremely useful as you can remove the kettle from its base as soon as the water reaches the desired temperature.

Good quality material overall, stainless steel interior of the kettle. Boiling is done quickly and the thermostat is quite helpful in stopping it at the desired temperature. I don't have an opinion yet on the accumulation of salts because I have had it for a short time. The only "negative" is that the base of the kettle is made of plastic, I would prefer it to be of better quality.
I took a risk buying this kettle because there were no reviews to give me an idea about the product. So far, it seems like the risk was worth it. It is aesthetically pleasing. Functionally, it heats up water quickly without making excessive noise, except when it reaches a high boiling point where the bubbling sound is inevitable. Two additional advantages are that the switch automatically turns off when the water reaches 100 degrees and the thermometer on the front allows you to know the temperature of the water, so you can boil it to your desired degree.
