    I bought it because I have NOCTUA fans for my case and to cool down my motherboard since I have installed 8 120mm NOCTUA fans. So I got 3 pieces (1 as a backup) and I have connected the 3 front fans (that bring in air) to one of these and then to a port on the motherboard, and the 3 top fans (that exhaust air) to one of these and then to another port on the motherboard
