  This review is about the colour: Inox

  We have had the toaster for 13 months. Its use is typical. Every day, we will toast 3-4 slices of bread and 1-2 sandwiches. From the 6th month, the coating gradually started to deteriorate and peel off around the edges. However, the biggest problem we encountered is the speed and quality of toasting. When we activate the device, the heating elements start to heat up relatively quickly and the toaster, based on the indicator lights it has, shows that it has reached its maximum temperature in about 4 minutes. After this time, the thermostat of the device cuts off the power supply, causing the plates to not heat up, but simply maintain the temperature they reached, which decreases at a very fast rate. Measurements with a contact thermometer showed that the temperature of the detachable plates drops at a rate of 11°C per minute (which is an extremely high rate of temperature loss). And most importantly, the thermostat is activated again when the temperature has dropped in the detachable plates by about 25-27 degrees Celsius. The end result is the following two scenarios: 1) If what we have put to toast is done within the first 4 minutes of operation, then it is fine. Of course, this depends on the thickness of the bread, the type, the temperature, etc. For example, ready-made slices of bread "for toast" from a specific company were toasted in 4 minutes with a thin slice of cheese for toast (more than 34% fat). The same slices of bread, with cheese (11-16% fat), could not be toasted properly. 2) If within the first 4 minutes the toast and/or bread slices have not been toasted, then the toasting process will practically be completed in about 13-16 minutes for a typical white bread with a slice thickness of 1.5 centimeters (at room temperature), and in about 19-23 minutes for a whole grain bread with a slice thickness of 1.5 centimeters. I consider that there is a manufacturing malfunction (at least in the device I have) regarding the thermostat (it cuts off the power supply early and activates with a delay). Based on the above, I believe it is very tiring to have to take into account the thickness of the bread slice, the type of bread, its temperature (sometimes the bread is in the refrigerator) in order to achieve satisfactory results within a reasonable time frame. For this reason, I do not recommend this specific model from Pyrex for everyday simple use that includes toasting different types of bread. It goes without saying that for any other material for toasting, apart from those mentioned, its use is completely ineffective.

  I have had it for less than a year and I only use it for toast. About a month ago, it started to take a long time to toast and only toasts half of the bread. Yesterday, after using it, I wiped it with a plain kitchen paper and noticed that the coating started to come off, even though it wasn't scratched at all. It is the most useless thing there is.

  The most useless thing I have bought lately. How difficult is it to make a toaster that can toast two humble sandwiches?! In order to manage to toast two sandwiches, my advice is to put them in before you leave for work in the morning and as soon as you return from work in the evening, two medium rare sandwiches will be waiting for you! It doesn't even toast upon request! I suggest for those poor souls who bought it like me the following uses:
  - Warming baby milk by placing the bottle on top (don't worry, it won't burn, it will come to room temperature)
  - Waist warmer if you are caught waiting above the toaster for the sandwiches to toast
  - Warming motorcycle gloves before wearing them in the winter
  Anyone who managed to toast two sandwiches in a reasonable amount of time with this toaster must live in the Sahara or work at Pyrex. Thank you for your time, I don't write reviews but this product simply fails to accomplish its sole mission and is completely unsuitable.

  It evenly toasts 2 regular-sized sandwiches. The plates are easily removable for cleaning. The cord is slightly short in length. Let it work for 10 minutes before the first toasting. It has 2 large orange lights on the top. Comes with a 2-year warranty. I've had it for a few days, if any problems arise, I will come back. So far, everything is good for its price.

  Finally, I made a bad choice. I should have bought the same one that I have been using for years and left at the country house. I envied the removable plates that the previous one did not have (same category and price and from the same supplier) and I chose it, which are of very poor quality! I have had it since October 21" and already from the first uses, the non-stick plates are worn out. I only washed them once as soon as I received them and obviously not with wire. I only toast and grill sausages, so logically the damage was done with the sausages, but still, it is not justified... If the sandwiches slide a little further, the melting cheese enters the gaps of the removable bottom plate and cannot be cleaned at all. It also sweats! The steam that is created fills the inside of the toaster since it has nowhere to escape. When you open it, it drips in certain areas and there is generally moisture all around, not just a simple humidity. Oh! And from the beginning, it makes a noise once in every three times (between buzzing and whistling, let's say). I would send it back, but in the meantime, I have burned the cable that touched a hot spot on the toaster and it has become a makeshift solution, and I am sure they would say that it is related, and for 20-something euros, I won't bother. It's not slow, but you can't call it fast in toasting, it toasts a little unevenly, and to make them crispy, you have to burn them a little more due to the moisture I mentioned.

  I am very satisfied and fortunately I was not affected by some negative reviews. It toasts my sandwich quickly and evenly. The bread becomes crispy and the cheese melts moderately inside. The plates are easily removable for cleaning. The sandwich does not stick to the plates. And for the second round of toasting that I tried, it toasted the sandwich in the same amount of time. I haven't tried putting two sandwiches at the same time yet, but it seems like they fit perfectly. It can be stored upright, the cord is just right, not too short or too long. It is also beautiful in white color. Absolutely no complaints. Especially considering that it has removable plates, the price is very good.
  Also, it doesn't smell at all. Only the first time it smelled when - following the instructions - I turned it on without a sandwich for about ten minutes with the plates open and with the window open, so the smell didn't bother me at all. After I had cleaned it carefully. It didn't release any smoke or anything.
  Also, some people mention that it is a sandwich maker and not a toaster, which is not true. And it even says "for two delicious sandwiches at a time" on the packaging..

  Stay away from this specific toaster! The problem is not the smell that some have mentioned! If you have followed the instructions for first use CORRECTLY, you have absolutely no problem! The issue is that the toaster does NOT toast! It takes horribly long! I mean, you put a slice of bread to toast, and you can easily go shopping until the afternoon and come back to see IF the slice of bread has finally toasted!!????????????! We are talking about such a DISGUSTING product! I was deceived by the famous brand and I regret it! Stay away from it, seriously!   I left it on with the plates open for 10 minutes (first use).
  I unplugged it and cleaned the plates again.
  Then I plugged it back in with the plates closed for preheating.

  Worst purchase I could have made. The toaster simply doesn't toast. It only warms up the bread and you end up with a dough-like bread.   The truth is that before I bought it, I read all the negative reviews and honestly I hesitated with some of them, but then I said enough, it's just a toaster and I bought it. Especially with some that said that the toast doesn't fit, the toaster smells, it makes noise, it burns the bread, the cheese doesn't melt. Finally, after using it myself and following the instructions for first use, I discovered with great joy that none of these are true.   Small toaster that fits exactly two sandwiches. It toasts the sandwiches nicely and quickly, the plates seem non-stick and for this reason it is easy to clean without removing the plates. However, if needed, the plates are easily removable. The only negatives are that it smells a bit when it is working, although it may diminish after many uses, and that the cord does not have enough room to be wrapped properly for storage in an upright position.
