Very good, soluble with satisfactory taste. Much cheaper than the also quality gel sachets of the same company. One of the very positive things for me, apart from its isotonic action, is that it does not cause me any reflux. I am very satisfied, but I prefer gel sachets on the bike as they are more practical.
It is a good alternative for people who take gel before training or a competition, as it costs 35 cents per serving instead of 1 euro for the gel. We are always talking about products from the same company. Moreover, if someone takes breaks during their training or can carry a bottle with them, it can be useful for athletes who take gel during their workout. Compared to Maurten's Drink Mix, it has the exact same ingredients, but the proportions are slightly different.
One spoonful of powder, included in the packaging, dissolves in 250 ml of water and provides 22g of carbohydrates, 305mg of salt, which gives 120mg of sodium. The amount of carbohydrates compared to the gel is the same, but you get more salt and sodium, which I consider a big advantage of the product.
Its taste is not strong and it is very pleasant to drink, its problem is that it is difficult to dissolve just by stirring. I put it in a glass of water, stir it with a teaspoon for a couple of minutes, and then transfer it to the bottle.
As for subjective observations, I think it is absorbed faster than the gel and provides the energy you need while exercising intensely, especially after twenty minutes or half an hour of taking it.
I was not convinced by its dissolution in cold water, it left undissolved pieces stuck to the bottom. Also, its taste was not strong enough and the worst part was that it left a slight sweetness, something you don't want when you're working out (causing even more thirst). It did something in terms of energy.
