The game is amazing, one of the best Digimon games.
Unfortunately, it only has Japanese voice acting and not English. Also, in some few parts, a dialogue may not make sense, and the localization job wasn't the best, but still, the game is worth its money.
The reason it gets 4 instead of 5 is due to the lack of English voice overs (only Japanese), which makes it tiring to read the lengthy conversations without the ability to skip, repetitive scenes (landscapes), and there are quite a few pointless side missions that you can obviously avoid.
Its strengths are that it is one of the few games that captures the essence of the Digimon franchise with the overall aesthetic of the game, from its menus to its story! Getting two games for the price of one is worth the money!
Note: The game is very mature (blackmail, bullying, hacking, etc.).
This game is a gem. I am still playing it for the first time, but it is very positive in that you get to choose which digimon it will evolve into and it has perfect graphics. The only negative is that it has a lot of blah blah, but as a fan, I loved it. The story it has, especially at the beginning, is a bit inappropriate for young children, but it is definitely a game that is worth its money, especially with so many overrated games out there. Note: with the options it has, you can play it again and again, it has a perfect post game, and it's like having two games together, so it has endurance over time
