The engineers at Seasonic implemented a new design feature where instead of cables, the back and the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) are connected with a copper plate. Fan Control Button
The fan control button is located at the back of the FOCUS PLUS power supply, next to the power switch.
*DO NOT press the button if you want to enable the Fanless Mode feature, where the fan in the power supply will not spin when the power supply is under light loads. Press the button if you want the fan to spin at all times, even under low loads.
Hybrid Silent Fan
The first, Seasonic-patented, advanced three-phase thermal control achieves the optimal balance between silence and cooling. This hybrid silent fan control operates in three operational stages: Fanless mode, silent mode, and cooling mode.

Excellent PSU in amazing packaging. It comes with 2 beautiful cloth bags with many cables and a short circuit tester for checking proper operation before installation. It also has many connections. It has a hybrid mode so the fan doesn't work when there is not a high consumption/heat. No coil whine. I had a coolermaster 700w 80+ for 9 years that still works fine but I changed it to be sure. The 850w gx focus draws 50W less in idle pc state!! I found it unbelievable. I believe it is a good value for money and will not disappoint.

Unfortunately, it burned 2 motherboards.
I chose it because of the excellent reviews and its length (140mm) as it had to fit in a mini case (Tacens AC4).
It worked fine for 2 days. On the 3rd day, the computer suddenly shut down and wouldn't turn on again. The service told me that the motherboard (which I had been using for 4 years with an EVGA power supply) was dead.
I ordered a new motherboard and after installing it, the same pattern repeated itself, as the computer worked fine for 2 days and then wouldn't turn on again on the 3rd day.

In 2008-9, I bought the Seasonic M12. It lasted for 13 years with heavy use. Now that I changed my graphics card, I thought it was right to replace it with this one. Not that it wasn't working, but as a precaution. It has a sturdy construction, completely silent, with flat cables for easy cable management. It's worth its money and in my personal opinion, there is no better brand for power supplies than Seasonic. It's better for someone to be frugal with another part of their computer than with the power supply, they will pay for it in another way in the future. The box contains screws, some Velcro tapes, some cable ties, and the following cables for anyone interested.

Perhaps the highest quality power supply at 550 watts at a reasonable price, with a 10-year warranty, silent, from a company whose name has become synonymous with quality in power supplies and generally comfortably covers most mid-range systems that have a CPU and GPU consumption that does not exceed 300 watts (which is not low).
For example:
Ryzen 5 3600 / GTX1660 Super ---> 190 watts OK (with overclocking capability)
Ryzen 5 5600X / RTX3070 ---> 285 watts OK (with overclocking capability)
Ryzen 9 5900X / RTX 3070 ---> 315 watts OK (the upper limit that the 550 watts can safely cover, only for stock settings without overclocking*)

P.S. If 70-80 euros seem too much for the power supply, check out the corsair TX550M, which is currently at an excellent price (around 50 euros), and it has a 7-year warranty. Personally, I have been using it in 2 gaming systems for 4 years, and it is high-quality, silent, and very stable in its operation.

I have it paired with a Ryzen 5 3600, 16GB 3200 Ram, 3060Ti which they say requires over 600w, but it doesn't falter anywhere! It will show over time, of course, but the first day is going great! (In a good way). It's quiet, you can't hear anything even if I put my ear on the case. Simply put, SeaSonic is top-notch... The Seasonic Focus GX is a very good fully modular power supply at an affordable price. Overall, its body and cables are of high quality in a simple black color that matches with any color scheme. It doesn't have any crazy design, it's very simple and won't bother those who want something straightforward.
Generally, Seasonic is a well-known company that you don't need to be afraid of. Imagine that even Corsair and other companies buy power supplies from Seasonic and sell them under their own name and logo. So you may already have some experience with Seasonic without even knowing it.
It works comfortably with a Ryzen 5 3600 and GTX 1070ti at 550w and is quiet. Don't rush to get a 750w power supply because you think the wattage won't be enough. It's possible that if I had an Intel, it would require fewer watts to operate. Also, as a tip, never skimp on buying a power supply and then add something like an RTX 2060, etc. Get something good that will keep you calm and have peace of mind. The power supply is the most important component as it is the heart of the computer.
Finally, don't look at the 80plus certification as a measure of quality. There are plenty of Gold models that are not as high quality. It simply changes the efficiency of the power supply in how it uses the power it receives from the wall and how much of it. So Gold certification, etc. doesn't always equal quality. Look for the model you are interested in to make sure it doesn't have any issues and see what people say about it.
Otherwise, I haven't had any problems with it in the 4 months I've had it, neither with temperatures nor with computer crashes, etc. Imagine that with the previous Corsair VS 650 purchased in 2015, I had some issues, so spend those extra 30 euros to get something good that will protect your computer from power surges, etc. It's an investment in the power supply, as we will have it for many years.
I recommend it, solely because it's modular, it frees up your hands with the cables and makes it easier.
