Full manual, resulting in easy assembly even if you are a complete beginner like me. It starts very easily, just by following the instructions of the sticker attached to it. Although I don't have any other experience, the build quality seems very good, without any plastic looking cheap or weak. Even with the factory chain, it cuts large logs (I have cut up to 40cm in diameter) like butter. It is not heavy at all, it tires you to a reasonable extent after a long time (I am not particularly fit). Sometimes I think that the 120 would be enough for the job I need it for, so everything depends on the prices. If you find the 120 with a big price difference from this one, and you are not a professional, consider it. The gasoline consumption seems low to me. The only thing that seemed strange to me (but then I understood why it happens) is the high chain oil consumption. Be careful where you leave it because it leaves large stains. Also, be careful not to run out of oil while working, it may run out before the gasoline.
Conclusion so far: with a well-sharpened chain, attention to chain oil consumption, and a willingness to work, the tool kills. I have no experience with the 120 but do not rule it out. I will come back.
Update 27/02/2024
It remains a beast. It always takes very easily, if you follow the instructions. Very sturdy construction. Gasoline consumption is really low, chain oil consumption is high, be careful not to get absorbed by the pace of your work and finish. Keep it clean - it's not a joke - sharpened chain (countless videos on YouTube) and it will not notice anything.
It is combined with the 587 80 90-01 Combi 3/8'' chainsaw guide from Husqvarna (as stated in the manual).
Regarding model 130. It starts very difficult, especially if the weather is cold, either with a choke or without a choke, even though I have used several chainsaws before. It also has excessive oil consumption for the chain, and if you leave it somewhere even when it's turned off, it will leave a large oil stain. The service told me that's just how it is. Unfortunately, this machine is the shame of Husqvarna.
Bought 3 years ago at a blackfriday price of 179€. Easy engine start, very powerful for its cubic capacity without vibrations. It's worth its money and more!!!
P.S. I'm coming back with a purchase this year, a second husqvarna 130 on this year's black Friday for 199€. Now I have both in my possession and I am extremely satisfied with 0 problems. It works like new after 3 years of use and cutting approximately 30 acres of peaches, almonds, and apricots.
It starts easily, quite comfortable to work with, without many vibrations, very powerful, strong torque, low fuel consumption, and also very... beautiful. I've been using it for a month with my mother's chain and it hasn't needed sharpening yet. I also have the HUSQVARNA 136 for about ten years, a real workhorse, works perfectly. I've put it through a lot, if it was another brand it would have fallen apart. I hope the 130 will be as sturdy as that one.
One year later: Very good, except that it consumes a lot of chain oil from the beginning and it leaves stains wherever you leave it. When I took it to the authorized service center, they told me "it's not a problem, that's how it is."
It is an amazing choice, firstly it is beautiful, and it has a lot of power, and it is not too heavy, I highly recommend it. We have had it for 3 years, and it hasn't had any issues
Very good chainsaw, I have it for 4 years, it cuts in summer and winter... The only thing it needs is a good chain sharpening and it's ready to bring down any tree
