  As a professional trainer, I could say that the watch is very good, and I haven't encountered any problems. The build quality is very good, the battery lasts for many days, and all the applications work very well. One small negative is the reliability of the measurements, which I can't say are satisfactory enough to rely on, and the fact that it often loses connection with the mobile phone (poco x5 pro 5g). Apart from these two negatives, the watch has completely satisfied me, as well as the Garmin company, as it offers applications that no other company can currently offer. The NFC is flawless, and the options you have with the watch are simply worthy of the quality you would expect from a Garmin. In my opinion, it is a very beautiful watch, with a large and very bright screen with the use of the backlight.

  In 2 years and 3.5 months, the vibration of the watch, which cost 600€, broke. The repair cost 250€ (or more accurately: replacement with a refurbished one, as suggested by the company), with only 3 months of warranty. If they had given me at least one year, I would have made the change. Now I simply deactivated the vibration to avoid being bothered so much.

  Good evening, in April 2020 I purchased the Garmin Fenix 6x pro for 590 euros after 2 years of use and 3 months (warranty has expired). The watch started to mix up pixels on the screen, so I performed a reset of the settings and since then it has completely frozen, it doesn't open, close, or work in general. I sent it to Garmin in Athens and they told me it needs a replacement board from a refurbished one. It costs 216 euros for the inspection and only three months of warranty. I would like a more serious approach for such a purchase.

  GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT UNFORTUNATELY FROM GARMIN.

  Unfortunately, as much as I love Garmin watches, this time I had a very bad experience.
  On August 20, 2021, I made the purchase (564.45 euros), and after a few days, I realized that the sound was not working and it was not connecting to WiFi.
  On August 31 (after 11 days), I returned the product to the store where I made the purchase.
  On November 4 (after 2 months), I received the new watch that Garmin replaced because they couldn't repair it. Within a few days, I noticed that the battery in the new Garmin does not last as advertised in the product specifications (21 days) and only lasts for 10 days. I spoke with the store, and they advised me to reset the factory settings and try again from the beginning. However, the battery still only lasted for 9-10 days.
  On December 13, I sent the watch back to the company for repair.

  Today, February 21, 2022 (after 2 months), I received the watch which Garmin neither replaced nor repaired, even though I had emphasized the battery issue. As you can see in the image, it still only provides 10 days of battery life.

  Unfortunately, I am disappointed with Garmin. Today, after 6 months since I purchased the watch, I was only able to wear it on my wrist for 1 and a half months.

  Having the Garmin Forerunner 310XT for 8 years and being completely satisfied, I decided to trust the same company, raising the levels of its technology vertically.
  I am an amateur long-distance runner, so I consider watches of this kind as a "tool".
  The Garmin Fenix 6X Pro is in my opinion one of the top proposals. Beautiful and impressive watch.   Purchase 6 months ago and evaluation now (will follow over time for those who want to buy it cheaper). Excellent functionality, excellent recording of heart rate and other measurements (barometer, etc.), also much better than Apple. The price is a bit high, but as an athlete and lawyer, I literally wear it all day. Battery autonomy is 20+ days, even with the use of programs, metronome during running (4 times a week), etc., it drops to around 10 days. I don't have the watch connected to my phone all day, only to sync my workouts (important for battery life).

  Update 11/2022: The watch remains a beast, it also came out with proper synchronization with both the satellite and the distance (I ran close to the blue line to avoid deviation). Battery is the same as before, 20+ days, and it has fallen 2-3 times on tiles without the screen getting damaged. Okay, obviously the heart rate may not be 100% accurate as many factors come into play, but it is a very good guide. I think the price has dropped as much as it should (although Garmin stubbornly refuses to lower prices compared to other companies).

  I come from Fenix 3HR.
  The big difference I noticed is the clarity of the screen and the improved battery life.
  It is a very good tool to monitor your workouts, especially if you wear the appropriate chest heart rate monitor. For example, if you run with the HRM Run, it will give you stride length, ground contact time, cadence, left-right balance, vertical oscillation, aerobic/anaerobic exercise, estimated calorie consumption, sweat, and much more.
  For altitude, distance, time, etc., it goes without saying.
  Also, the application is very good and user-friendly. Probably better than the main competitor (Suunto).

  It was interesting that changing my watch decreased my VO2 by 4 units and it took me 4 months to recover it. I suppose it requires an adjustment period.

  Its major drawback is that it is a consumable product that dramatically loses its value in a very short time.
  In this sense, it is very expensive. I estimate that it should cost a maximum of $400.

  I bought this specific model from a large store to be covered by warranty and have the Greek representation. Unfortunately, I believe that the GPS tracking, despite having read negative comments on forums and being prepared, is worse than all the GARMIN watches that I have owned (this being the 4th model). I sent an email to GARMIN USA and GARMIN Europe and had excellent communication with them. However, when they told me that they would replace it, considering that there was a problem with the specific device, I had to deal with the Greek representation, and they told me that it would have to undergo a technical inspection. I took it myself (secretly, in the midst of quarantine, I can't imagine the inconvenience someone from the province would have) prepared to be without a watch for about a week. They took it the next day and told me that there was no problem with the watch. All they did was logically activate it and see if it connected to the satellites, so for them, as long as it connects, it's okay. They didn't look at the recordings I had made and sent them via email, nor do I imagine they tried to make any recordings themselves. The tragic irony is that before I took it, I spoke to the technician and asked him if the model had any problems in general, so that I wouldn't go through the process, and he assured me that there was no such issue. This serial is still unfolding...

  In summary, I would say that those who want to buy it should read the related forums about the GPS inaccuracy due to the poor SONY chipset it uses (for battery saving), and they should keep in mind that the watch is definitely not worth its price. The heart rate sensor is useless and requires a chest strap for accurate data; sleep tracking and related features are not necessary for an athlete. The maps are very good, but navigating through the menu is quite difficult for someone unfamiliar. Spotify music only works with Bluetooth headphones connected to the watch and not with ones connected to your phone (you can't even change songs). GARMIN Pay is the only feature that works perfectly and smartly. The other feature that satisfied me is the presence of the metronome, which helps those who count their cadence in their workouts.

  The time has come to describe my own experience with Garmin's service and customer support.
  I have written in previous posts about the poor tracking I had on my new Garmin Fenix 6x pro. I bought it from Plaisio, which is an official representative. It is the 3rd Garmin model I have used, and the comparison was made with previous recordings from the same workouts. After sending my initial complaints to GARMIN USA, they showed interest, and I had very good communication with them. They even accessed my account (after I gave them permission) and saw the data from my workouts. Then they referred me to Garmin Europe, which is based in the UK. There, I explained everything from the beginning, and after a few emails and them seeing the data (less helpful than their American colleagues, of course), they sent me a return code to send the watch and receive a new one. I reply to them that this is a great inconvenience and there is also the fear of customs duties due to Brexit, why not make it through the dealership since I bought it from an official store and the watch is new. Then they apologize because they thought I was a resident of the UK (as I said, not particularly helpful but not awake either) and refer me to the Greek dealership.
  I send an email with all the above communications forwarded and their response was to call them on the phone (they are too lazy to read, they don't know English, I don't know) I call them and try to explain to them and the answer is characteristic, bring it from here to see it, it can't be done otherwise. I ask them if there is a general issue with the Fenix 6 as mentioned in several forums due to the problematic Sony chipset, they tell me that no, there is no such thing, I should bring it to them for inspection. So in the midst of quarantine, I, half-illegally, bring them the watch. The next day they call me and tell me that the watch has no problem and does not need any replacement. I reasonably ask, how is it possible for the European dealership to tell me that it needs replacement and they see it as perfectly fine? Should I send it to England for replacement, I ask them? Their answer from Pythia: "if that's what you want, it's your right". So I go (again illegally) to pick it up. They had taken a walk on the sidewalk in Alimos, they had checked the buttons if they work and they say it's fine. Of course, they were not at all surprised by the fact that even next to the sea and without tall buildings around, the recording was terrible. The only thing they check is if it connects to the satellites obviously. I take it back as it was, almost of course, because they have disabled my Garmin pay and I can't fix it and a bunch of other workouts from other accounts have been transferred, possibly from other watches or devices that they checked and I have to remove them one by one. I return home and send an email to Garmin Europe. They wash their hands and tell me that I have to find a solution with the Greek dealership! I also send to the Americans and they apologize for their colleagues but they also cannot do anything from America, they tell me. The next step before the psychiatrist is the Consumer Ombudsman, although I don't expect any help because it's not easy to explain the problem to an ignorant person. The conclusions are yours.

  Exactly one year in my hand this tool and words are unnecessary.
  I use it mainly for running but also for walking, cycling, exercising, boating, skydiving.
  Its measurements are impeccable, in just one year it has only tricked me twice by showing me that I am running off-road, and this in the same area obviously because Google has it blurred due to prohibition.
  The heart rate monitor has not stopped measuring for a second.
  The GPS has worked perfectly in all areas, mountains, seas, plains, cities, villages, EVERYWHERE.
  The battery is a beast, 12-14 days without ever turning off the watch and everything open except for the pulse oximeter with daily activities.

The watch, without serious use, completely broke down one month after the warranty, even though I had informed the company that I had issues with the battery during the last month of the warranty.   It's a bit early for a review, but it has a big difference from the fenix 5 I had. Especially in screen clarity, now I can ride my bike without taking my hands off the handlebars and still see the screen. It hasn't lost GPS signal while swimming or running. The heart rate measurements seem to be more accurate. The sleep tracking really helps me. It hasn't left my wrist for 2 months. I believe it's perfect for someone who does outdoor sports. The only negatives are the high price and the strap, which is not as comfortable anymore but seems to be more durable. The previous strap had wear and tear within a year.
  Update: After 3 years, it's still holding up well, maybe just a few minor scratches on the case.
  I will definitely buy only Garmin again in the next 5 years!

  Simply the best sports watch on the market by far from the second one, it does not need special recommendations.
  I emphasize the word sports because it is aimed at professional athletes and amateurs with high demands. The profile of the potential buyer is either a previous owner of fenix models or someone who needs a tool to excel in their sports activities. It will not satisfy anyone seeking just a smartwatch and the truth is that it is also a bad idea for someone to spend €700 for this reason.
  Its measurements are endless, perfectly accurate, and the updated heart rate monitor (if you are lucky because inaccuracies have been reported in batches)* is the best I have seen in a watch. Of course, it cannot offer what a chest strap can, but it is the most remarkable thing I have seen.
  The screen is beautiful and improved compared to previous models, incredibly readable in sunlight and satisfactory at night.
  The battery is from another planet, there is no need to say much, it can last up to 80 days without the heart rate monitor and activities.
  New menu and widget appearance.
  Reliable blood oxygen meter with altitude adjustment.
  Nice body battery and truly useful.
  It accepts music and performs contactless transactions with an alpha bank or revolut card.
  I could write for days about its functions (those who have previous models understand me) as even more functions have been added compared to previous fenix models, and in general, there is nothing that you can think of doing that it cannot record, from running/cycling at the most demanding points to the gym, skipping rope, swimming... whatever you really desire, with the help of the Garmin strap, it can show incredible measurements for anything the human mind can imagine.
  In general, it is an incredible watch that does everything and is also beautiful, although this is subjective.
  The only negative thing I have found is the sleep tracking where there are discrepancies, but it is something I had in the fenix 3hr and it was fixed at some point, so I hope it improves here with an update.

  *There have been cases where the heart rate monitor had serious problems without determining if the problem was software or hardware... but we are talking about a company that replaces your watch immediately with a new one in such cases.

  After the Fenix 3, I purchased the Fenix 6X Pro 1.5 months ago, and as expected, I am almost completely satisfied with the purchase. The price is definitely steep at €749, but in my opinion, it's worth it.
  I use it for running 3-4 times a week and for gym activities 2-3 times a week.
  Its battery, with the heart rate sensor always on and connected via BT to my phone for about 12 hours a day, lasts for about 15 days!
  Except for the heart rate sensor, which doesn't provide great accuracy for activities with heart rates above 120, which is annoying, I hope it will be resolved with a future software upgrade, it is flawless. Until then, for running when I need accuracy, I use the chest strap, which provides maximum accuracy.
  It's definitely not a smartwatch and can't be compared to the expensive models of Samsung & Apple, but I think it performs equally well or even better as a smartwatch compared to all the others.
  It's very useful that I can make contactless payments with it (only if Alph@bank card details are registered).
  Additionally, it has 16GB of memory to load songs and listen with BT headphones, which is particularly useful for those who use it during sports activities and want to carry as little as possible. Personally, I never carry my phone, etc. while running!
  The connectivity with BT & wifi works exceptionally well.
  Its maps are quite fast and user-friendly, but the 1.4" screen is definitely not ideal for navigation compared to a mobile phone.
  There are many free and paid apps to download whatever each person desires.
  I haven't used the features for golf courses and ski slopes, so I have no opinion on them.
  It provides great convenience with the quick and easy strap change, where there is a variety of colors and designs with prices starting from €3. Also, changing and customizing the watch face is very easy.
  I highly recommend it to someone who engages in sports activities regularly, as it will satisfy them quite well, assuming that money is not a major concern.
  If someone wants it as a smartwatch, it might be better to look for something else that is cheaper and has more smart features.

  The watch is incredible! I had been considering buying the Garmin Fenix 5x and later the 5x plus, but I kept postponing it. As soon as the 6x was announced, I bought it straight away. The build quality is very good. In the 1.5 months that I have had it, I accidentally hit it on surfaces and no scratches were created. It only comes off the wrist for charging. Also, during the day, the screen is incredibly clear, especially in bright sunlight, without the user needing to do anything. I consider it the ultimate tool for active users due to the activities it can track, but also because it motivates the user to reach their daily goals. For me, it was a purchase at 750 euros that I did not regret for a moment.
