Amazing cooler, amazing temperatures comparable or even better than Arctic 34. Beautiful fan, almost silent even at 1500 RPM.
During installation, when we put coolers with hooks like this one, we unscrew the screws holding the plastic a bit and it goes in very easily, without pressure. Old trick
In AM4 it needs a patent to enter, the little feet are not enough... The temperatures at idle are 49c with room temperatures at 24-25. In gaming, it reaches 85-89c. With the stock, I had much better temperature, I must say. The installation required a lot of effort to fit and its construction is mediocre to poor. For the money, it might do the job for a desktop computer for gaming/editing, but it's better to get another one with more money or keep the stock. I will return it and put the stock back.
First time I evaluate a product on Skroutz and I wouldn't have done it but this specific cooler impressed me incredibly. It was installed on an AMD FX8350 and replaced the stock AMD cooler which, after a decent period of good cooling, reached a point where it sounded like an airplane turbine. The temperatures before the Thermaltake reached 25-30°C idle and close to 70°C in games, but with its installation, I saw 9 degrees Celsius idle!!! 9!! First time in my life I saw something like this and in gaming it didn't exceed 40! It was combined with Arctic Cooling MX2 thermal paste and not the stock one from Thermaltake. As for its installation, unfortunately, it gave me a bit of trouble. I had to remove the entire motherboard in order to manage to install it, the two clips it has for the AM3+ motherboard were so fragile that I was afraid twice that I would damage the processor or the motherboard. Other than that, it's an incredible cooler. I definitely recommend it!
