It is value for money. I have three of them, for two years now and they work great with the initial 4 batteries that cost more than the grinder itself... Just the pepper, salt or any other spice you use must be really dry because it clogs. The grinder is made of plastic and so far it does its job. Maybe the size of the ground spice is not consistent (meaning sometimes larger pieces come out) but that can also be nice sometimes.

Honest for its price. In salt, it works flawlessly even with very coarse grains. In pepper, it struggles a bit but does its job very well. The batteries can last about a year with daily use.

I used it 2 times for peppercorns and on the 3rd it got clogged. I put in brand new batteries again but nothing. It doesn't have a bottom cover, which is a disadvantage. I put in coarse salt but the fine grains keep falling out from the bottom and it spreads crumbs everywhere you set it down. It's only for grains but it clogs with the grains. You get what you pay for!

It struggles excessively to grind pepper grains and most of the time it stops. It also requires 1.5V batteries, so it doesn't work with the rechargeable 1.2V ones (which I have). Okay, it's a very affordable mill at €4.5, but since it doesn't do its job, it's not worth it. Also, it doesn't have a bottom cap to prevent the spices from falling everywhere, and aesthetically it's not like in the photo.
