The resistors are vertical and quite narrow, of mediocre quality metal, resulting in improper and uneven cooking. The slow thermostat is probably faulty, it turns off as soon as it reaches temperature and comes back on when it has already cooled down and what you are cooking. The cable is quite short and needs an extension cord. A very mediocre grill, expected due to its price. Prefer something else
