20 Steps = 20 Chapters
STEP 1: Know thyself = Find the time to look within yourself.
STEP 2: Decide to be free = If you want to be honest with yourself, stop pre-determining the difficulty level of things.
STEP 3: Be open to love = Find someone who will enjoy you without considering you their possession.
STEP 4: Don't forget to laugh = Laughter is health, but beware: there is also useless, bad laughter that makes you sick.
STEP 5: Listen better = "Listen" means: L-I-S-T-E-N.
STEP 6: Learn with humility = No one holds the truth. Accept it.
STEP 7: Always be cordial = Without tenderness, you won't go far. Victory goes hand in hand with love.
STEP 8: Organize the internal and the external = Important vs. secondary.
STEP 9: Be a good "salesperson" = Give others the chance to understand who you are.
STEP 10: Choose good company = To avoid losing others, we lose ourselves. And thus, we lose others too.
STEP 11: Upgrade your knowledge without prejudices = So far, so good. What next?
STEP 12: Be inventive = Experience is good, but to envision and create, sometimes you need to set it aside a bit.
STEP 13: Make good use of your time = Pleasant surprises are nice. It's up to you to let them enter your path.
STEP 14: Avoid dependencies and attachments = You carry a thousand burdens out of habit and can no longer walk. What would you keep in a shipwreck?
STEP 15: Take only controlled risks = The most dangerous thing in the world is to live a life without taking any risks.
STEP 16: Negotiate the necessary = I prefer to abandon rather than sacrifice. I prefer to agree rather than negotiate.
STEP 17: Live equally without competitions = I question the "benefits" of fierce competition. Becoming better is different from being better than others.
STEP 18: Don't fear failure = You only learn through mistakes. If you do everything right from the start, you'll never learn anything.
STEP 19: Start again = When you've messed everything up, there's no point in trying to fix it. Start again from scratch.
STEP 20: Don't doubt the final outcome = You are not the laughingstock of the world. If you believe that you will succeed in the end, then you will find the strength to take risks and the way to continue.
"We, as Western people, need to intervene, manipulate, orient, and regulate. We want to feel that we are the executors of the laws of the universe - and I don't find that bad. For better or worse, whatever happens in the world contains, to some extent, our involvement in life's situations. By accepting this fact, we understand that on a personal, family, and social level, we must add dreaming and realization, desire and planning, need and action, value and work, patience and rhythm, persistence and creativity."
