The game is quite ambitious. You can play with so many characters and each one has their own skill tree with many upgrades, etc. The graphics are very nice, the sound is excellent. The utilization of the dualsense is very good.
The variety of enemies is quite limited, as well as the scenery. This is probably why it gives the impression that you are doing the same thing over and over again, even in the campaign. The flow of the story, therefore, creates a "lull" for me as I felt that some missions were simply added to lengthen the game.
**Now, since the game's support has ended, all costumes and character takedowns are given completely for free... it has story DLC completely for free... it has its online features, so it is a fair proposition for anyone who wants to get involved
Unfortunately, it was a throwaway for easy money and you get bored very easily doing the same thing online over and over again. If you want a good game, play Insomniac's Spiderman and Guardians of the Galaxy
They gave me this game as a gift for my 21st birthday. The tutorial is amazing, but after the tutorial, it becomes boring. The graphics are pretty good and the story is average. I don't know if I would buy it, but it's a decent game
One of the worst games of the decade! A big disappointment. Cheap knock-offs of the characters, as if I'm playing a Chinese version without rights and they charge me 30€? I'm laughing! Where do I even start? Terrible gameplay full of bugs and glitches, you can't even enjoy the fighting. The skins cost 15€ each! Yes, you read that right. Each one! Anything related to character leveling is boring and simply increases the numbers without any meaning. Zero customization, except for the skins. The story is short, boring, repetitive, without any substance, no plot twist, no character build (Kamala, the protagonist, is forced) and the most predictable plot ever. All DLCs are free, but every boss fight is staged at an unbeatable level, even on easy! I wonder who designed the boss fight levels, it's dangerous. No matter how you approach the game, it's terrible, mediocre, a joke. It needed at least 1-2 more years of production to be considered decent. Under no circumstances should you buy it and avoid it even if it's provided to you for free (which won't happen because these studios are mocking you to your face).
I have been a fan of Marvel since I was a kid. I used to watch the movies and read the comics, but I never believed that if they made a game it would be so bad. I feel like they were pressured to release an incomplete game.
In my opinion, it is a game with amazing graphics and very nice gameplay! Indeed, its story mode is short. As for the missions, I find the choices few, resulting in having to play the same tracks over and over again. It would be the perfect game if it had more characters, if it had plenty more tracks and missions, but mainly if the opponents were more numerous and interesting. Apart from MODOK, Abomination, and Taskmaster, all the others are exactly the same "little bots" that are divided into 5-10 different robots with 5-10 different colors each. It could have been the best game ever for me, but it doesn't take the title due to mistakes that a game with such well-crafted and high-quality graphics and gameplay shouldn't have. I bought it from here for almost 30 euros, does it deserve it? I would say yes, with the hope that in the future it will add new players, new tracks and missions, and new opponents, both big villains and small bots.
The single campaign is relatively small but enjoyable, it takes 8 to 10 hours to finish. The online multiplayer generally has missions and objectives that didn't excite me, I wouldn't say it's bad... it just left me indifferent, maybe because I'm not generally a fan of multiplayer. As for the collector's edition... it's very beautiful and unique, it doesn't have the usual items of most collector's editions (artbook, soundtrack, stickers), but the steelbook is of high quality. The figurine has a very nice paint job and weight, although its base is hollow. I don't need to analyze the rest of the items, you see them and put them back in their boxes. 4 out of 5 from me.
The truth is that it was the most anticipated comic title of the year. But the final result divided people, some talk about an awesome title and some about the ultimate disappointment. It is a very nice comic title, with some positives and negatives, which have to do with the time the specific title was released. As a multiplayer game when there are competitors like Fortnite in today's era, it is difficult to attract people to your platform when the title you bring as a competitor has a price of more than 40 euros. If it was a free-play title, we would have a completely different discussion right now. It was released at a time when the AVENGERS movies have completed their cycle, so it makes it look outdated. Overall, as a title, it doesn't offer anything new and the story mode lasts about 12 hours. Surely if the price drops, it will be an ideal choice if you are a fan of comics, superheroes, etc. In the positives, we are talking about a quality title with Marvel heroes in the PlayStation version, including Spiderman. The story mode is very enjoyable, especially for young gamers and comic fans, they will definitely enjoy it. Regarding the Earth's Mightiest Edition, it comes with many high-quality gifts for the fans, the large Captain America figure looks very beautiful, in contrast, Ironman fans will feel disappointed, as the specific document with the designs of his suit looks very inadequate. Thor's hammer, although in the form of a keychain, is impressive. The Hulk figure, in the style of a Funko Pop, with a deliberately marked price of $2 to make it look even more realistic that it is Tony's gift, makes it look particularly beautiful. As a game, it is very good. And generally, I like games of this kind. But I don't see the reason for it to become 40 euros from free to play. If you lower the prices, I believe it will be utilized more.
The definition of mediocrity. In its positives, I will include the graphics, which are very beautiful, and the overall excitement of playing as Hulk, Ironman, and generally as an Avenger on the PS4. However, apart from that, we have a boring story (not even 10 hours long, in which you did exactly the same things as the missions after the end of the game, which were the same 4.5 levels with the same objectives), a boring combat system (very clunky, I felt like the fighting didn't give me a sense of freedom), and many loading screens, as each level had an annoying and time-consuming matchmaking. The collectibles and the way to find them were boring and uninteresting, random comics and entries in the diary. Overall, while it had potential, throughout the whole game, I had the feeling that they hadn't finished it and that something was missing. If it doesn't drop to a 15 out of 20, it's not worth its money
DO NOT BUY! Boring repetitive small bad story, terrible character models while they had licensing they put faces from knockoff heroes that look like they came out of the express. Boring continuous button mashing indifferent skill tree which you won't even need skills that are not given time to use, enough bugs on release and crashes. The game is the definition of mediocrity avoid it not worth it
The definition of mediocrity. On one hand, it has good graphics, the story is good, and the gameplay, specifically the combat, is good. However, it fails in all other areas. In the end, it becomes boring and the endgame (whatever exists after the end of the game) is for nothing. It has some boring levels to play with the same objectives, the same bases, enemies, and bosses. This game has the worst loot system I have seen in a game, the numbers just increase and the appearance doesn't change. The appearance only changes with paid SKINS (with exceptions), from the item shop or battle pass, the last things we wanted for an Avengers game. It's not worth the money it asks for, and if you do get it, get it cheap for the story.
The best thing, finally the game we have been waiting for from Marvel for so many years! Amazing 12-hour campaign and awesome co-op online with upcoming updates with new heroes, I highly recommend it without reservation!
