Tooth design

• The tooth design of 3.5 teeth per inch with a positive tooth angle of 10° offers the following advantages:
• Faster and more aggressive cutting.
• The improved heat dispersion during cutting ensures that the teeth stay sharper for a longer time.
• The deeper curved slots provide more effective chip removal, preventing clogging and heat buildup.
• The specially shaped tooth angle is less prone to binding in thinner materials.
• The teeth are alternately/side adjusted to minimize binding and friction.
• Requires less feed pressure.

Tooth material

• For the toothed area of the hole saw, high-speed steel of type Matrix II is used. Matrix II steel contains 8% cobalt, allowing the teeth to maintain their original hardness even at high working temperatures when used in metal cutting applications.

Bi-Metal (Bimetallic Construction)

• High-speed steel teeth are laser-welded onto a body made of high alloy steel. The teeth are then hardened under vacuum to 65 HRC at a temperature of 600°C to provide maximum strength and durability.

Hole saw body

• It is made of 1.27 mm thick steel and is rigid to maintain its shape, but it also has built-in elasticity.
• The effective cutting depth is 41 mm. The multiple slot design facilitates the removal and ejection of the core.
