• Tooth design: The tooth design of 3.5 teeth per inch with a positive tooth angle of 10° provides faster and more aggressive cutting. The improved heat dispersion during cutting ensures that the teeth remain sharper for a longer time. The deeper curved slots enable more efficient chip removal, preventing clogging and heat buildup. The specially shaped tooth angle is less prone to sticking in thinner materials. The teeth are alternately/laterally set to minimize binding and friction.
• Tooth material: For the toothed area of the hole saw, Matrix II type high-speed steel is used, which contains 8% cobalt. The bi-metal construction with teeth welded with laser to high-alloy steel provides maximum strength and durability.
• Hole saw body: The body of the hole saw is made of 1.27 mm thick steel and maintains its shape with elasticity. The effective cutting depth is 41 mm.
• Backup plate design: The backup plates are made of thick steel to prevent hole expansion over time, offering strength and rigidity.
• Applications: These hole saws are suitable for use in hand drills and column drills (only with manual feed), ideal for a variety of materials such as stainless steel, acid-resistant steel, non-ferrous metals, cast iron, aluminum, wood, medium-density fiberboard (MDF), drywall, sandwich panels, and PVC.
