Purchased three years ago. Suddenly, during an open water training, it turned off. The application on the computer did not recognize it. After many attempts, it charged. Suddenly, the battery that used to last 1 week now lasted 18 hours. And after 2 weeks, it turned off again. I sent it to the Suunto representative, and after 2 weeks they informed me that they sent the watch to Finland, it was returned, and it cannot be repaired because there is a problem with the circuit. Basically, it's for the trash. The representative told me that they offer me another Suunto (different model) for €220. When I asked them how much a new one costs, they told me €270. So, the watch breaks down after 3 years, and they give me a €50 discount on a new one. They are looking for fools. NEVER AGAIN Suunto. I had Garmin and Polar in the past. Prefer them...
It is perfect. Tested in running, open water swimming, and cycling. Beautiful and sturdy. High-quality construction. It works perfectly in the water. Of course, you need to lift your hand out of the water to measure. That means it won't measure in the front in the water like all GPS watches. For measuring heart rate in the water, I would recommend purchasing a HR zone belt. The battery lasts for 1 week with 4-5 hours of GPS usage, heart rate monitoring, and notifications. Don't forget to add GPS and GLONASS or one of the other two to the system.
In the sea, he loses track of time too much. Disappointing..... unfortunately, the watch of a fortune and you go for a workout in the open sea and it hasn't recorded half of them....
Excellent tool, beautiful. As someone else mentioned, it does not refer to gadgets and is strictly, perhaps I would say, for professional triathletes and athletes in general. I, who am not, enjoy it as a beautiful watch with the basic sports features I wanted to record. Overall, I believe it is worth it, provided you have the money and it is much more of a sport watch than a smartwatch. The GPS initially gave me some trouble, but I found it okay and adjusted it. Since it got the setting for Greek, it is worth 100%. It partially responds to gadgets. After 6 months, I add that I love it because it is beautiful and its usefulness is exactly what I wanted. Of course, it may be expensive and I would like it to announce the laps in open swimming.
After 2 years of use, I have to say the following: It is a very good sportwatch with accuracy in GPS and various other measurements. It has a long battery life. Its smart functions are limited and I don't use them (it is not a smartwatch). I use it for recording measurements during running and I am completely satisfied, both with the watch and with the mobile application suunto app. Finally, due to its appearance, you can wear it at any time of the day.
Very good application in hand due to its relatively small size. The battery life lasts for many hours with GPS on because Suunto has changed the sensor with a new technology that is very energy-efficient and with perfect accuracy! As for the design and overall design (I have the graphite copper), it is beautiful and you can wear it as a good watch!! Beyond that, it is a multi-sport watch and I think it is aimed at athletes, meaning it only has basic smartwatch features (calls and messages on the screen) for those who want them, and smart functions.
Okay, what can we say now about Suunto and its sports watches?
As the owner of the Suunto 9 Baro, I was pleasantly surprised by the purchase of its smaller sibling in the series.
It fits better on the wrist and the functions are exactly the same, to the point where I completely neglected the 9.
The optical heart rate monitor is just as accurate as the 9 since it's the same one!
Loaded with 80 different sports.
The battery life is exceptional.
But what really stands out is the graphite copper color.
It's simply amazing!
It's a charm on the wrist and everyone asks me about it.
One of the few that can be worn with casual attire.
5 stars and then some.
simply perfect incredibly BEAUTIFUL
2 times for service. Not even 5 months
Quite presentable..and a reliable tool for those who know how to make use of it.
