I have had this umbrella for 3 years... I have paired it with a sturdy Greek-made pole (base) and I can say that the umbrella is as durable as one needs at the beach... I am not a friend of a store owner who sells umbrellas but just a regular consumer... I have read various reviews and I have one objection here.... my well-intentioned opinion is that one must know how to set up an umbrella at the beach... always check the direction of the wind and set it up diagonally so that the cutting edge of the umbrella works and does not create resistance... on the contrary, it actually holds it better!!! Therefore, I would advise those who do not know to watch a video on how an umbrella works, how to set it up, and under what conditions. Try it and you will see that maybe it was also poor handling!!! I recommend the umbrella to everyone.
I have used it in southern Crete and northern Crete where there was always strong wind and very hot weather. The material is very good and does not let the sun pass through. You just need a good umbrella base and the set is ready. The size is really satisfying, it is not small even though it looks small. Also very lightweight. The bag is very convenient, but it needed some repairs after the first year. The umbrella is great, it has no problems after two years of use. I will definitely buy another umbrella.

Basically, it is an umbrella EXCLUSIVELY for days when there is no wind at all. The first time we used it with relatively strong wind (5 Beaufort), two of its ribs broke during opening and it practically became useless. Don't even think about buying it.
