Painful story. It doesn't fit all cameras and doesn't output 4K on all of them, so be careful on their page. I stream with pixels and the camera keeps turning on and off haha. I should have bought a capture card for 20 euros
It's not worth that much money for the job it offers. Better to go for something more affordable and you will achieve what you are looking for.
For pure camera use, I have a Sony A6300 on it and I have absolutely no problems, perfect image quality! No issues and stuttering in the image up to 60fps very smooth
It does what it says without any problems. It doesn't need drivers, it's plug-n-play. Of course, it depends on the software you will use it with. I didn't encounter any issues with OBS & Streamlabs.
I have the Camlink 4K here for a few months and it works perfectly, with great quality. Initially, I would like to say that I use it with my Canon M50 MKII, which has clean HDMI. In order to not display all the info from the viewfinder, your camera needs to support it. The device is plug and play. That means you don't need any software or anything else. You just need to connect it directly to the USB 3 port on your computer's motherboard and use a mini HDMI cable, and you're ready to go. If you want to connect your camera for video conferences on any platform or for your streaming, there is nothing comparable in terms of quality or price. I hope I helped future buyers!
It looks good, but don't believe what the company writes on their page regarding compatibility.
I bought it for a Canon M50, but it does NOT provide clean HDMI as they claim on their page, only if you disable AutoFocus.
