Description

The Dewalt DCK2062L2T Set consists of the DCD709 Hammer Drill and the DCF809 Impact Driver with 2 3Ah batteries, charger, and TSTAK II case. Both tools feature a motor for improved runtime and maximum power and are extremely compact in length to allow access to hard-to-reach areas. The new 18V XR tools are fully compatible with all existing Dewalt 18V tools, batteries, and chargers.

Brushless Motor

Less wear, greater performance

The advantage that brushless motors have over brushed ones is that they do not have friction since there are no carbon brushes. Without carbon brushes, the motors are more efficient and have a longer lifespan as there is no wear and tear (the carbon brushes in brushed motors wear out with use). They produce less noise, maintain their torque at all speeds, do not overheat, and do not require maintenance.
