Kendama is a skill toy originating from Japan. It consists of a wooden handle shaped like a hammer (ken in Japanese) and a ball (tama) connected by a string. The goal is for the player to send the ball to various parts of the wooden handle. Nothing in life is as simple as it seems! Kendama offers entertainment and relaxation. In Japan, kendama competitions have been held since 1979, and there are clubs around the world that organize tournaments with knowledge exchange in tricks and speed battles!
