The G512 is a high-performance gaming keyboard that offers the option to choose between advanced Romer-G tactile mechanical switches, Romer-G linear mechanical switches, or GX Blue mechanical switches. The advanced gaming technology and aluminum alloy construction make the G512 simple and durable with full capabilities
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Very good! But try to get it when it's priced at €90 to make it more value for money.
Update 17/12/2021: Well, the keycaps are indeed unacceptable for the price. The D key on the WASD has one and a half feet in the grave (okay, I play FPS all day, but even the Chinese motospeed keyboard I had for a longer time at a much lower price didn't have any issues) and there are damages on some buttons on the sides. (I'll upload a photo for you to see). The only reason I won't give it 2 stars but 1 is because I like the feel of the keys and that I will replace the stressed WASD keycaps. I still recommend it, but with caution.
I bought it on 25-11-2021. For office applications, not for gaming. Since May 2922, when the temperature started to rise in my house (for some reason that I don't know, there are times when it gets hot), the first problems started: pressing the "k" key resulted in it being typed twice.
By June 2022, the keys that were double-typing had multiplied: k, u, s, d, n, o, th, accent key, hyphen key, and sometimes the space key.
On 23-6-2022, I took it to the store where I bought it and they said they didn't find any problem.
I gave it to a relative of mine who knows professional typing for a month. The problem continued for him as well.
I took it back to the store (10-8-2022), where they again didn't find any problem! I let them send it to the service center. The story continued: They also didn't notice any problem there.
The winter of 22-23 passed without any issues.
Since May 2023, the double-typing issue reappeared strongly. For various reasons, I didn't deal with it.
On 1-9-2023, I took it back to the store. Again, they didn't find anything.
During this period (October 2023 - when the temperature has dropped???), it types almost normally.
Conclusion: Defective product for which they didn't provide a solution, neither at the store nor at the service center.
Note: I had informed them that if the problem is related to the increased room temperature, they wouldn't be able to detect it in their air-conditioned offices.
Another problem is that the keys fade! In my case, typing in Greek, the accent key has faded. (Truth be told, I didn't think to ask them to replace it, so I don't know what their response would have been.)
Final conclusion: Stay away! It is unacceptable for a keyboard of this price to have about a dozen keys malfunctioning within half a year, and for them not to be able to identify the problem, neither at the store nor at the service center! Simply unacceptable!
You may not encounter a defective product, but if you do, be prepared for a frustrating experience (both with the product and the after-sales service)...
Well, I have had it for almost 2 months and I can say with certainty that it is worth the money. Very good and quality construction, and definitely very beautiful!
After a considerable amount of time in my possession, the keyboard has a nice feel and is aesthetically pleasing. However, several keys quickly lost their color, and after about a year, some keys started to double press or not respond when pressed. I consider the keyboard to be quite overpriced if you purchase it for over 100€.
I received this keyboard as a gift for Christmas. By Easter, the A and S keys had already faded, and now other keys are gradually fading as well, not necessarily the ones I use the most. I hope they replace it for me, and honestly, if you're reading this review, stay away from this keyboard.
Update 17/09/2022: I took it to the store where I bought it, and they told me that I would be wasting my time if I sent it for repair to Logitech, as they would just send it back and say it's normal wear and tear from usage. Of course, it's definitely not normal, but I can't find a solution, so I will go for the next keyboard.
Update 12/6/2024: The keyboard is in terrible condition, and besides the fact that most keys have completely faded (photo 2), the "k" key has started to not register when pressed or register twice, as mentioned by another person in a different comment. So it's definitely not a coincidence.
VERY BAD KEYBOARD, STAY AWAY!
It is my second keyboard together. My first keyboard was the blackwidow v3 tnkl and both my keyboards are simply top
The keyboard is quite good, I have had it for a year and it hasn't presented any specific issues, but with 70 euros you can get a keyboard that is specifically for gaming and much faster, like the gk61 and others
It is not possible for a keyboard of such value to have its buttons worn out after two months of use. And just to prevent the smart ones, I never eat on the keyboard.
Bought at 70, it is definitely worth the money, it has a very good feel with a nice clicky sound. The Logitech software is good although I would like more customization.
Beautiful, sturdy, and with a nice sound from the blue switches! However, after 4 months, it developed a problem with the N key (it required 2-3 hits to register or would type 2-3 N's with a single hit). I took it for service and while the N key was fixed, in a few days it had the same issue with the 1 and 7 keys on the numeric pad. I got really frustrated, put it back in its box, and bought an Armaggeddon SMK-6C (at half the price of the G512) which I am very satisfied with so far.
Generally, it is very good as a first impression, but when I hold down the "e" key, sometimes it repeats, as if you are pressing it continuously, and it ruins my plays. I am trying to find if there is any setting or if there is a problem.
A very good and high-quality keyboard with a sturdy construction and easy to clean. The sound of the keys is quite limited and not at all annoying (in my opinion). Maybe a price 20 to 30 euros lower would be ideal.
From the best keyboards that my hands have tried. I have the blue switches because I really like the feeling and response of the keys. But I assure you that they are not silent. I don't know if they also come with other switches that are quieter

3 months now and it proves to be top!! Expensive indeed but worth the money.
Unacceptable to fade the keys after a week of use on a 100 euro keyboard.
One of the best and most affordable gaming keyboards.
Awesome...you get what you pay for
