I am very satisfied with this particular thermal paste. This is the third time I am buying it and, as it seems, I will continue to choose it. For its price, it offers excellent performance for me, and I see no reason to spend more money on something similar. Absolutely satisfied!
It's fine. For its price, it's what it should be. I change the paste on my PC every year along with a general cleaning that I do. I also bought a more expensive paste, but I didn't see any difference.
I have been using it for several years and I have no complaints, as it does not require a large quantity, spreads evenly, and cleans very easily.
It simply works, it was the initial placement so I don't have a comparison with previous paste. Also, it hasn't been enough time to draw long-term conclusions, either on the paste on the processor or on how much is left in the package.
Amazing paste. It reduced temperatures up to 12 degrees. I have used it so far on four laptops and one desktop computer. Unfortunately, it only works for processors.
I had removed the terrible paste that the X62 Kraken had and I put this one and I saw a big difference (5-10 degrees Celsius).
It is good, the problem is probably electrical conductivity. I put it on a graphics card and it short-circuited. The computer wouldn't turn on, but luckily I didn't burn the card. I replaced it with Zalman and Artistic MX4, and even better, MX6. Everything is fine now. It is only for processors and you need to spread it with a spatula so it doesn't come out of the frame when closing the cooler. Clean it with isopropyl alcohol. I read that Artistic lasts for 5 years and Artistic MX8 for 8 years. However, I heard that Artistic MX5 is not good. MX6 is fantastic in performance but difficult to apply.
- I have been using it since 2016 and on the 4 processors that have passed through my hands:
1) i7 4790K
2) Ryzen 7 1700X
3) i7 8700
4) i7 10700K
as well as on 2 laptops. It does its job reliably and guaranteed.
For example: Ryzen 7 1700X overclocked to 4Ghz: max 60°C.
- Foreign reviews that I have read rank it among the top 5 thermal pastes worldwide.
- Personally, I don't care about the quantity, because when I buy a €350 processor, I naturally aim to protect my investment. I see no point in saving €3 by buying a "cheaper" solution if it means that the CPU will fail because the paste dried out in a year.
- After 5 uses, the tube ran out and of course, I bought the same one, so that I have it for future use.
In 8700K 5ghz (no delid) with x62 kraken, I had 30 idle and 50 average on games, and 65 on stress test with Prime95. With stock paste, I had 35, 55, 72
The paste is excellent, as soon as I changed the pastes on my laptop, the temperature went from 80-82 to low and 1280x720 resolution in Overwatch, for example, now it doesn't exceed 74 degrees and when the fan turns on it stays at 68-69, sometimes it drops to 65-66. We're talking about an incredible difference and now I can at least play in 1080p low settings. It's not a great machine, but I can play more quietly now. Don't complain about the money, whatever you spend, you will get it back! 5 stars easily from me and when I fix my beast of a PC, I will definitely use this paste with my eyes closed. GET IT without a second thought!
For me, it is the best thermal paste on the market!!! It transfers the temperature flawlessly, it doesn't matter how much time passes, and it outperforms all the pastes I have tried (e.g. Arctic Silver) by far. The only negative is that it comes in a very small quantity. Tested on an FX 8350 with 1.55 voltage!!! and now on an i7 7700K, all stock since this specific processor simply overheats on its own. It simply does its job perfectly.
Very effective in heat transfer, it does not dry out even after years unlike other thermal conductive pastes, being electrically non-conductive is a positive thing. I gave it 4 stars because the quantity is indeed quite small compared to other pastes that offer the same things (e.g. Arctic MX4). The truth is that I wouldn't buy it again because of the price, I just got it together with the cooler.
I have this specific paste in my system for a little over a month, as it was included with the Noctua NH-D15 cooler that I bought.
It is installed, along with the aforementioned cooler, on the Intel i7 3770 processor. In tests conducted in September, the processor was around 40 degrees Celsius at idle and reached around 80 degrees Celsius under full load.
Overall, I am satisfied with its performance, considering that I did not purchase it separately. I believe it is similar in performance to the Arctic MX-4 and slightly worse than the Prolimatech PK-3. Additionally, it is more liquid/fluid compared to the PK-3.
Taking into account the price per gram, it is almost certain that I would not recommend it as a standalone purchase to a friend. However, if someone were to buy a Noctua cooler and this paste was included in the package, I would not recommend them to buy another one.
The installation was done on the 5800X3D, I didn't see any difference.
Simply the best awesome performance in thermal processors
