4K 1/3 Type 3CMOS Sensor

The PXW-Z190 is the world's first professional camcorder with a 1/3-inch type 4K (QFHD) sensor. Red, blue, and green light are independently captured by separate image sensors in the Exmor RTM system at a resolution of 3840 x 2160 up to 60 fps. Even if you are delivering in HD, the 10-bit 4:2:2 recordings will capture image detail and texture that HD sensors simply cannot see.

Professional 25x zoom lens with three independent rings and long focal length

The PXW-Z190 is equipped with a professional 25x zoom lens with a zoom range from 28.8 mm to 720 mm (35 mm equivalent). The 1/3-inch type lens has three independent control rings, which allow manual control of focus, zoom, and iris, making adjustments better and faster.

The image can be magnified in HD mode up to 50x equivalent zoom while maintaining Full HD resolution, thanks to digital extension.

Advanced AF and face detection

The PXW-Z190 features a new Face Detection AF function. You can choose between Face Priority AF and Face Only AF. Just keep the person in the frame and, no matter how much you move to get a better angle, you can be sure that the PXW-Z190 will keep your subject in sharp focus.

Stream directly to major online platforms

Your live stream connects you directly with your audience, wherever you are. From breaking news and live events to interviews and seminars - capture high-quality images and share them in real-time on major online video platforms like YouTube Live, Facebook Live, Mudu.tv, and more. Set up your own streaming channel with your smartphone or tablet, connect via Wi-Fi - and you're ready. You can even import streaming account details from your PC or Mac via SD card using the StreamingSettingTransfer app.
