Beautiful watch, the finish for a watch over 1500 euros is very nice. I like it a lot when I wear it, but it has one downside, like all new Tissot watches. Bought new, after a few months it was losing hours every week, which is unacceptable for such an expensive watch. In the end, Tissot changed the mechanism for me; I hope it doesn't happen again
I made the purchase on August 26, 2023 at 8:00 PM.
The next morning, I noticed that it was losing 15 minutes because the second hand was getting stuck at a certain point.
I returned it on the same day and the store owner suggested exchanging it because the watch had a problem. He also told me that the chronograph was not functioning properly.
So, I changed the color of the case because there was no second one available, and I returned after 2 months for the evaluation of the second Tissot Seastar 1000.
SUDDENLY, it got stuck without ever putting it in water (not even washing my hands under a faucet).
I went to a store near my house that sells Tissot, thinking it was a battery issue, but it wasn't a battery problem, they told me at the service center, and that I would have it back in 10 business days with a shipping charge of 10 euros to the dealership. Okay, so I've been without a watch for 1 month, using it exclusively for evening outings 3-4 times a week with care. It's really beautiful, sturdy, and fits perfectly on my wrist without removing any bracelet links.
I'm starting to regret my choice.
Purchased as a gift for a friend, so the rating is more than just a "viewer" position. Beautiful watch, with a dynamic presence due to its size. Very high-quality and well-crafted case, the dial is clean and impressive at the same time. Extremely accurate since it is quartz, and personally, I consider it one of the most beautiful divers under 1000 euros. The only drawback for me is the 45mm size, as it requires a medium to large wrist to not appear excessively big.
I never used to wear watches or accessories in general because I felt they bothered me. So, after I got my first watch purely for outings, I saw that the watch is a very beautiful accessory that enhances elegance even in everyday attire. And since I started getting used to wearing it on my wrist and it no longer bothers me, I decided to invest in a watch that is first of all mechanically excellent and then beautiful. As soon as I saw the Seastar among all the watches, I truly fell in love with it instantly. I waited until I saved up the money to get it, but now I never part with it! I work in a focus-intensive job and the watch truly takes a beating every day, yet it has not a single scratch.
At first, I was sure that I wanted the faded blue and no other color, but the store didn't have it in stock. So, without having the patience to wait any longer, I got the faded green and I'm really glad they didn't have the blue because, apart from the pictures, I realized that I like the green much more.
As for the accuracy of the time, there's no discussion, the words are unnecessary. Accuracy to the second!

[14/8/2020 Attention, I bought a blue one from the same store but it didn't have the same "clarity/transparency/opacity" of the crystal, I don't know what was wrong (that's how it is with my Casio Edifice of 185€ that I have), I returned it, also it didn't say "30 bar" on the dial, but that's probably not a problem because it is indicated on the back, so I appreciated more the watch that I already have...].
It is beautiful, functional, and safe: The stainless steel bracelet (T) with a folding clasp, with safety and diving extension, but also the watch itself (which has a nice groove along its length), is divided into matte and satin finishes creating a subtle difference (they have paid attention to the details).
It is beautiful², functional², and safe²: It has a black (mine), rotating numbered bezel (with large numbers and markings up to 20), unidirectional, the crown -which also has the logo (T)- as well as the two buttons above and below, are screw-down for extra waterproofing that reaches up to 300m.
