Excellent! The best one I found and then I gave it to a friend of mine who was also thrilled. I have tried 3 others, none like this one.

It's worth the money unlike other bulky kettles, the temperature selection is easily done with buttons on the handle, a big advantage is that it's not glass because it would be cleaning salts all day. The build quality is good, it's worth its money.

It is my first kettle with these features. After 5 months of use (mainly for heating water for my baby's milk), I am quite satisfied. It took me 5 minutes to boil a full kettle of water (I assume the temperature of the tap water was higher). I find it somewhat noisy when heating the water. I think it might disturb someone sleeping in the same room if it automatically starts heating the water to maintain the selected temperature. Another small negative aspect is that it does not easily empty all the water (it requires some special handling to do so). A positive aspect is that with proper handling, it shows the current temperature of the water. As for the limescale, the manual recommends cleaning it approximately every two months. As for the removal process, it is somewhat demanding and the downside is that it does not remove them completely but at a rate of 80-90% (unless further steps need to be taken beyond what is stated in the manual).

Positive:
1. Modern and compact construction. Handle that helps prevent burns.
2. Aluminum container in which only the water indicator is plastic.
3. Boils 1.7 liters of water in 5:30 minutes and 0.5 liters in 2:00 minutes. Relatively quiet. Makes more noise with a small amount of water because it rattles.
4. Temperature selection and maintenance, which I find very convenient. Finally, I can drink coffee/tea without burning myself.
5. Manual lid that opens wide enough to facilitate filling.

Negative: I haven't found any yet, but I'm giving it 4 stars to see how long it will last because that's an important factor.

Update 05/07/22: 2 years of trouble-free operation

Very good..does what it says and it's economical..I would buy it again..the only negatives are that it takes up space but everything fits easily logically and when you take it out of the base it immediately loses the maintenance setting and you have to put it back again.
