The most important thing I consider is the opening. In order to open the boiler, you have to ask a man for help to pull it together and open it to fill it with water. Complete failure. I'm sorry for the money I wasted. They call it Tefal afterwards...

I had a Philips iron earlier that broke its handle after 4 years, and I wanted to buy Philips again but couldn't find it. I also saw the Tefal and I liked it, and because it has the design of Philips, I decided to buy the Tefal. I am in my first ironing experiences, maybe I will change my review over time. It produces a lot of steam and irons nicely! Also, when the water has heated up, it makes a sound to notify you, and it is also very beautiful. I like its color too. I don't know about cleaning yet, if I descale it, maybe I will answer the question of whether it is easy to clean. The only negative thing is that the iron is a bit heavy, but it doesn't tire you, while the boiler is incredibly light. I don't know how long it will last, but it will be revealed in the future. I'm glad I bought it!
I have had it for 3 months and so far it is excellent, I have nothing to complain about. I will give it one star in case it does not withstand the test of time!
We do not have an objective measure of comparison from similar products, so its function seems fine to us. However, the advantages compared to a regular steam iron are not significant enough to justify a huge price difference.
In simple terms... even if we didn't have it, we would do our job with a regular steam iron without any extra effort.
I had another Tefal iron that was much better...this one didn't impress me from the beginning...I bought it solely because it was more economical compared to others...it irons relatively well but occasionally releases water...it has accumulated salt and doesn't clean properly...the indicator light frequently turns on...it leaves salt on the clothes while ironing...I've had it for almost 2 years...very mediocre for Tefal
After two years of regular use in the exact same way, after an hour of ironing and while I placed it on its base, I closed its button and safety, it started to smell bad, burn, and the tip melted at the point of the safety. Of course, after this, it doesn't work. The money I spent went to waste. What can I say, from the beginning it didn't make a good impression on me. After contacting TEFAL company through authorized service, they didn't provide any explanation on how the iron got damaged, they refused to replace it even though it was within the warranty period of 20 days, they didn't acknowledge the manufacturing error of the company, and what they suggested was to repair it with used spare parts, which may not even be available and I have to pay for them as well, used parts, if possible. You pay a lot for the products and the quality is zero.
I am an iron that costs 150€ and produces a good 6.6 bar steam pressure and 440g.
To release steam, I have to hold down the button for 3-4 seconds, it starts spraying on its own for no reason, and stops whenever it wants.
Not at all immediate. A singer sg70 with 80g of steam that I had before was ten times more immediate in heating up and steam spraying!!!!
As a performance, it is good but I have already changed it once when I bought it (it was leaking water) and I thought this specific part would be enough... but after months of use, the new one they gave me, although it started well, gave me this problem... it doesn't produce steam and lets water pass through... don't buy it, it's probably a faulty model.
I bought this specific steam iron pump about a year ago and I was completely satisfied. I believe that one important thing is to fill it with bottled water and not tap water (nor of course demineralized). Due to intensive use almost every month, it asks me for anticalc cleaning. It is quite lightweight, produces enough steam for household use of course, and is also elegant compared to the "pigs" I saw.....(clunky ones)...
Also: The price I got it for, 150 euros, is clearly low.......
WARNING I bought it on 25/11/19 and it is the worst thing I have ever bought. From the beginning, it got clogged and didn't produce steam on the third ironing attempt. The cleaning was ineffective, and after cleaning, instead of steam, it released water. It also makes a noise and the boiler is filled with salt, ruining the clothes. I took it back to the store and they told me about the service. If I send it for service after two months of owning it, what will happen in a year? I leave it to the imagination of anyone reading this review
I was disappointed with this ironing system. It sounds like a machine gun every time I press the steam button, personally, the position of the button does not suit me. It is for larger hands. Also, it does not release much steam.
I have it for 3 months. It heats up quickly, has a descaling system, and when something is very wrinkled, you press the button three times and it produces A LOT of steam. It makes ironing easy.
Coming after three years to say that I declare myself disappointed... I took it for cleaning last year and a year later, same issues... I have to take it again, wait for a week, and pay around thirty... I'm already looking for another one... I had a iron for ten years, amazing... this one... terrible...
Since I don't have experience with irons, I can't be strict in my review, but I expected something different.
a. It is light in the hand while ironing, but that's logical since the water is in the tank on the base.
b. It doesn't produce much steam, I have to pass it over for a long time, sometimes it may release a minimal amount, and if you press it for a long time, it shoots out steam as if it will take off into space. I believe it's not suitable for a beginner.
c. The water in my area is very hard, so I decided to follow the instructions and use distilled water. After ten uses, it still throws salt particles onto the clothes while ironing. Now I use demineralized water!
**** I'm coming back as I reconsidered the steam issue. Since I started using demineralized water, the steam comes out better as it seems to have cleaned the plate from the salt, or maybe because I leave some water in the base after each garment, and it seems to accumulate for steaming. As I mentioned before, I was a beginner in ironing. I'm starting to like it + 1 star
It is very lightweight and easy to use... it produces a lot of steam, enough to iron clothes even jeans with great ease and from both sides with just one pass, I am very satisfied !!!
I have had it for two months and I am not satisfied at all... neither with the quality of ironing nor with the steam nor with anything... it may be the worst purchase of the last decade without exaggeration... especially what it says about the steam... 6.6 bar... the steam that a steam iron bought from LIDL produces is more... moreover, to release the steam, you have to press the button five or six times... and it makes a noise as if it's going to explode... after 10 uses and still nothing... I thought it was defective and sent it to the service center to fix it... which sent it back to me, stating that they couldn't find any problem... it's a shame for the money I spent and a shame for a company like Tefal to produce such useless products... and consumers to fall for it because they trust its reputation!
I have had it for just a month and I am satisfied with the ironing and the steam it produces. I can't say that the function for vertical ironing is exactly as they present it, you have to bring the iron very close to the garment to iron it.
Also, it doesn't have temperature control, it has two different functions, eco and normal.
It is not particularly heavy. Also, it holds enough water, it doesn't need to be changed frequently.
It does not produce enough steam despite the 6.6 bars that the company claims. You have to press the button three times in a row, which is not convenient at all. I don't think this particular model suited me
Extremely lightweight, with very satisfactory steam. Especially for shirts (which I use the most), they don't need a second pass. I highly recommend it without reservation!
It is my first iron with a boiler, so I don't have much experience. However, what I can say for sure is that this specific one made ironing a pleasure. Max steam in about 5 minutes from when you open it, not in 2 as the company claims, its plate glides smoothly over the clothes, easy to use with a simple descaling process. So far, I am satisfied!
Unacceptable product... In one year, it collected salts even though I cleaned it according to the manufacturer's instructions, and when I contacted an authorized service store, as well as the company itself, they told me that the warranty does not cover it and I would have to pay half the price of what I bought it for to repair it... The only positive thing is that it is lightweight, but it doesn't produce much steam, nor does it iron well...
