The Stanmore II is the most versatile speaker in Marshall's lineup and ideal for any space, small or large. It produces high-quality sound, synonymous with the Marshall name, clear and detailed even at high volume levels thanks to its advanced components such as the two 15 watt class D amplifiers driving its two tweeters and the 50 watt class D amplifier powering its explosive subwoofer.
Classic Marshall Design
The Stanmore II retains the brand's details such as the vinyl covering, the characteristic perforated fabric front cover with the classic Marshall logo, while at the bottom there is a brass plate engraved with the founding year 1962, a reminder of the company's over 50 years in powerful sound.
The Stanmore II is built to impress
The music experience is completed with the fine-tuning you can do with the classic analog knobs on the panel or through the Marshall Bluetooth App to perfect the sound in your space. You can connect it with 2 Bluetooth devices simultaneously with the multi-host function, easily switching from one to the other, as well as with any analog device using an RCA or 3.5mm cable.
Enjoy classic and new songs
Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity with Qualcomm aptX allows you to wirelessly play your favorite music with rich stereo sound and transmits sound without loss within a range of 10 meters without connection interruption.

First of all, let's agree that anyone who wants the ultimate, perfect sound should buy a good turntable sound system and leave it at that.
With that as a given, the speaker is Marshall: and that says it all. It combines aesthetics with quality sound and will do its job more than adequately as an indoor speaker. Music lovers should keep in mind that in order to fully enjoy its true capabilities, you should NOT connect to YouTube, but rather download your favorite tracks and save them on your laptop or PC, creating your own playlist that you can play through some software (like, for example, Winamp, old and beloved) adjusting the sound with the software's equalizer, so you can enjoy a sound close to that of a classic sound system. Only then will you truly appreciate the speaker.
The only, let's say, downside has been pointed out by others as well: on the back it says 60W, not 80W. If you turn it all the way up, of course, you will shake the building, so don’t worry at all. You just take it and go as you are.
The Marshall Stanmore II is a powerful Bluetooth speaker with a vintage look and excellent sound performance. It is ideal for those who appreciate build quality and sound, although its price and size may deter some who are looking for something more portable or affordable.
Not high remarks given as there are different models within the same type Marshall Stanmore II. I bought two pcs of Stanmore II, but unfortunately they can't pair themselves, what is really an useless investment. Waste of money as not practical use and pairing of both speakers at the same time.
I use it for music at home in a space of about 25-30 sqm and it is more than satisfactory. I do not want high volumes, so I cannot give an opinion on that. But at moderate volume, it produces a very nice, clean and enjoyable sound. The design and build quality need no further mention... Marshall... For the price I got it (280), I think it's a one-way street... if it fits the style of your home, of course.
Not exactly that it is a bad speaker but at this price you can get something much better in terms of quality. The sound is not neutral at all and it is not recommended for movies or simply watching a video. The voices sound very muffled and you can't understand what they're saying at all. I have had to mute the laptop speaker or use my headphones for movies. For the same reason, you can't listen to hip hop because the voice simply gets lost. It needs a 100% equalizer.
Serious speaker and crystal clear sound. No matter how loud you turn it up, the quality doesn't deteriorate. It's outstanding in terms of construction. It's incredible in every way. It's worth every euro. Very easy to use and has an unbelievable design
Great sound and design.. I connect it to my phone and also to the TV (ok, it's not Dolby) but it does its job perfectly.. it says everywhere 80w but the back of the speaker says 60w..
When you have it at 90% and you think it hits well, with one more click of the phone it becomes chaos!! It's like opening a second speaker. And in terms of sound quality, it touches perfection even at maximum
I bought it for 250€ and that's why it's 5-star.
At 360, I would rate it lower.
Loud sound, bassy but not crystal clear, sometimes I feel like I can't distinguish the highs from the mids.
3 types of connections, 3.5mm, RCA, and Bluetooth.
A mediocre app that only controls the equalizer (few frequencies) and the lights on the speaker (brightness).
It is aesthetically pleasing and suits well if you have a vintage aesthetic in your space.
I have it next to a pickup, it's not for audiophiles, but it's not aimed at such users either, I would say it's more of a lifestyle speaker than for lovers of good sound.
Personally, I wanted a combination of usability, beauty, and good sound, so I am completely satisfied.
Edit: I notice significant distortion after around 70% of the volume, so I lowered it to 4 stars
I was worried about this or the biggest one, I had concerns about the intensity and the bass. In the end, you don't need the biggest one unless you find it in a deal. I am very satisfied with its performance. I hope my daughter doesn't steal it from me
Good evening. I just got the speaker and tested it for a few hours and I have the following to say:
On the plus side, design, build quality, bass!
On the minus side, while it has good bass and is fully adjustable, its treble is a bit neutral! Even though it can be adjusted, I would like a slightly better tweeter to fill it up a bit more. If you have heard a JBL, you might understand what I mean! That's why I give it four stars!
*On the back, it says 60w instead of the 80w that the kids above mentioned in their comments!
I use it as a pick-up speaker (with RCA). The build quality is impeccable. The sound is exceptional, full of bass (the furniture vibrates at maximum volume) and clear highs. I also use it occasionally as a Bluetooth speaker from my phone (Oneplus 9 Pro), and it might be the best Bluetooth speaker I've ever heard. It requires a constant power connection (so it's not portable) and it's a bit heavy. But it is absolutely beautiful (in my personal opinion) and has amazing sound. It's worth every penny of its price.
Unbelievable sound, incredible intensity, and a top-notch appearance. No need to think about whether it's worth it. I believe the rest of the reviews show it. Just wait for them to put it at a better price (230-270) instead of 350
I bought it in the spring, it is one of the best purchases I have made both in terms of quality and use and as an opportunity (€247 in 24 installments). If you listen to Blues, Rock, Heavy Metal, you will be satisfied, if you listen to Folk, ask someone else!
Very beautiful device and with quality. The Bluetooth volume disappointed me, I expected it to be louder. I haven't tried it with a cable yet, but it sounds like mono
Tool in the number 1 category. Clean, full sound at maximum volume. I don't give it 5 stars because of the price. In its category, I don't think there is any competition. All of the above for indoor use, because if you want party-level volume for outdoor use, then you go for something else, these don't do that.
With rca or jack, it has a much stronger and higher quality sound (especially when connected to a computer with a good sound card), with powerful bass and clear highs even at high volumes. The bluetooth is flawless and works even with a wall obstacle. The build quality, along with Marshall's characteristic styling, is one of the selling points that will satisfy even the most demanding, decorating from the most modern to the most "traditional" space
Buying a well-known chain store product for 250€ with 24 interest-free installments, I think it's a good price for such a product. This particular one plays music daily at home and now in the garden during the summer, and constantly on the move. Okay, I have nothing negative to say, only positive things about its quality of construction and sound, of course. Since I had the opportunity to try many machines that day, I believe that this one surpasses the others by far in terms of sound quality compared to similar machines and higher power. There is incredible sound clarity, especially at the specific price I got it, there is simply no competition if you find it at this price, I think it's a one-way street.
I have had it for six months and I use it daily for music and Netflix. The sound is amazing across the entire spectrum. In terms of design, I believe there is no comparison with any other. It is a purchase that I have not regretted for a moment. It is worth its money. Do not hesitate if you have considered it
Impeccable quality... perfect performance! The best purchase I made during quarantine! It may seem small... yet it is miraculous in terms of intensity without interference and parasites! I recommend it to music lovers, etc! Very well-crafted externally with a very nice design!
Well, I've had it for a few days but I was trying it out so I went to electronics stores so I knew it was worth it compared to JBL and Harman Kardon. As for appearance, what can I say, pictures speak for themselves. One thing I noticed and if you want, you can give me your opinion. I think that with Bluetooth on my Xiaomi, using Spotify, the sound is low, at least until 6! From 7 onwards, the room starts to fill up. 80 real watts are not few for a living room. I haven't tried it with RCA or another Bluetooth source to compare. It seems to me that the volume is low.
Jewelry for both the ears and the eyes. Rich bass, sharp treble, voluminous midrange! Unique quality for true fans of Sound and Aesthetics!!! MARSHALL worked its magic! If you have the opportunity to acquire such a "diamond" and you don't, you probably don't respect yourself!!!
Very high-quality construction, very easy to use and connect via Bluetooth with mobile, tablet & pc.
Very good sound especially with the use of the equalizer (spotify).
I have had it for 4 years....it is an amazing speaker...it has never disappointed me.
update 22.Nov.2023
The speaker works perfectly, I have connected it to the TV and enjoy rich sound. Also, with the pair switch it has, whenever I want, I switch it to bluetooth mode and listen to music from my phone.
It is an excellent speaker and I will have it for many years (I don't think it will ever break).
Its design is impeccable and it fits perfectly with the rest of the house.
I recently bought this specific speaker and I have to say that I am completely satisfied with my purchase. Let me write a brief review about its features:
1. Very good build quality, sturdy body and vintage look with leather on the body and fabric on the speaker. Overall, the construction seems to be of high quality. In terms of aesthetics, it is exceptional, enhancing the space where you place it and serving as a decorative element in addition to being a speaker.
2. Relatively easy connection. For the first time on an iPhone at least, you have to set it up through the Marshall app, which I consider a negative aspect. However, I don't know if the same applies when connecting it to a TV or another wireless device. The app still offers some customization options (equalizer, brightness control for the speaker lights) and music control, although personally I find it somewhat difficult to use, perhaps even unnecessary.
3. The sound quality of the speaker is very good, both at low and high volumes. For mainstream music as well as for most genres I listen to (hip hop, funk, soul, disco, electro, house, etc.), I think it is just right. However, I don't know how it performs with more specific genres such as metal and classical music. There are also knobs on top of the speaker that control the bass and treble frequencies. As for the volume, in a 40-50 sqm space where I placed it (living room), it is more than sufficient, even at higher volumes.
4. As for portability, it is relatively large in size, but not too much. It is not difficult to move it from one room to another, although it is relatively heavy. However, if someone wants it as a portable speaker, besides requiring a power source to operate and not functioning with batteries, I consider it pointless to get such a decorative gem just to carry it around. Personally, I bought it after seeing it in a store, knowing its size and purpose, and it was placed directly in my bookshelf.
5. Finally, regarding the price, I have to say that although it is relatively expensive, for me it is worth investing this amount of money in such a speaker because, as I mentioned before, besides the sound quality you get, you also acquire a decorative element that is unique for any space. However, if you are solely interested in the sound, I believe there are other options available at lower prices.
In summary, I give it 5 stars because I believe that any negatives it may have are not significant. The only negative aspect that I consider worth mentioning is, of course, the price. Personally, I have no regrets.
