Although I think it's a lot of money (40€) for a plastic and small, fake basketball hoop..., I don't regret buying it. My child doesn't spend hours playing with it, but he will engage with it for at least a little while every day. Even on his own now, without me telling him anything, he can grab the ball and "score a basket." And he can also do high fives, because when we play together, after every basket, we shout "bravo" and give high fives! He is now 12.5 months old, and as he grows, he may enjoy it even more. We'll see.
Of course, the baby needs to walk to play... or at least stand, I imagine.
It's also not boring for us adults, because we play like little kids and compete to see who can score the most.
It includes 1 ball, but we have 2 more in this size to throw around.
