Description

The composite splint consists of lumbar and thigh application sections and a polycentric joint at the hip.

A. Lumbar Section

  • Reinforced polymer material, anatomically and symmetrically designed.
  • Internal soft foam lining.
  • Bandage strap at the front for proper fit.

B. Thigh Section

  • Specially designed polymer material for proper thigh fit.
  • Internal soft foam lining, removable.
  • Two bandage straps at the front for proper fit.

C. Polycentric Mechanism

  • Can be adjusted to both sections (bilaterally) according to the side of the condition.
  • The range of motion for flexion-extension is adjustable (with an allen key) in 20° intervals and the range of motion for abduction-adduction in 16° intervals.
  • The height and range of the splint are adjustable (with the help of a screwdriver).

Size: One size (Waist circumference 56 to 110cm)
