Lightspeed wireless technology for everyone

The G305 is a wireless gaming mouse with LIGHTSPEED technology designed to deliver exceptional performance using new technological innovations at an affordable price. The next-generation wireless gaming mouse is now available to every gamer.

  • HERO SENSOR

MAX. 12,000 DPI

  • 6 BUTTONS

FULLY PROGRAMMABLE

RESPONSE RATE

10x Efficiency

The HERO sensor uses an intelligent power management system to continuously adjust the frame rate processing based on the mouse's speed. This achieves high performance and accuracy while minimizing energy consumption. This means that the mouse has a battery life of 250 hours with just one AA battery.

Hero Sensor

The HERO sensor is a truly revolutionary innovation in sensor technology that offers top performance and efficiency. It is the first of its kind to enable the creation of a new generation of high-performance gaming mice with long battery life.

The HERO sensor in action

The HERO sensor offers accuracy at speeds exceeding 400 IPS across the entire DPI range (200-12,000) with zero smoothing, acceleration, or filtering. The HERO sensor provides gamers with unparalleled responsiveness, precision, and energy efficiency.

Lightspeed Wireless Technology

Through comprehensive construction and design, Logitech G developed an exceptional wireless connectivity solution to address key issues such as latency, instability, and connectivity. The result is LIGHTSPEED technology, a professional-grade wireless connectivity solution that offers performance similar to that of wired mice.

Achieve a 1 ms response rate

The engineers at Logitech G conducted a comprehensive technological optimization on all elements of the mouse, from the sensor and firmware to the circuits and antenna design. Our experienced team tested and improved every component, starting from the slowest, until nothing was slow anymore.

Extremely Long Battery Life

The HERO sensor and LIGHTSPEED wireless technology provide exceptionally efficient energy management, allowing you to play for months. It offers up to 250 hours of continuous operation with just one AA battery. It can be configured to last up to 9 months of typical use in endurance mode, which you can select via the Logitech Gaming Software.

6 programmable buttons

The main switches of the G305, both left and right, are designed to have a lifespan of 10 million clicks. The G305 also features a middle button, a DPI button, and two side buttons that you can program according to your preferences through the Logitech Gaming Software (LGS).

Ultra Lightweight

At Logitech G, wireless gaming mice don't have to be heavy. The G305 is very lightweight, weighing only 99 grams, thanks to the special design of the mechanical parts and the extremely efficient use of the battery.

Play Anywhere

The durable and lightweight small-sized design and the built-in case for the USB nano receiver make the G305 the ideal accessory for your travels.

Mechanical Button Tensioning System

The mechanical button tensioning with separated buttons offers more consistent response of the main right and left buttons, while requiring less force for each click. This way, the button performance is more reliable, so you can trust the mouse even in the most competitive games.

At 35€, it's the only budget option worth getting for a wireless mouse under 50€. The next best option is the Razer Orochi V2. It's also featured here: https://youtu.be/yfStwwBFCEw

Initially, the battery is a bit unacceptable for a battery that needs to be replaced every time it runs out. HOWEVER, this is not the mouse's fault. It's the battery that comes with the mouse. I recommend anyone who gets this to also get a lithium AA or AAA battery (which can be combined with an adapter to make it AA size) and it will be perfect.

I like the build quality of this mouse more than the much more expensive G PRO Superlight, especially the surface.

I don't like the weight of it with the AA, not because it's heavy in general, but because the weight is distributed incorrectly where the battery is. I prefer to use it with an AAA battery, as the problem (maybe just my preference) is reduced quite a bit that way.

While its wireless is incredibly clean like all Logitech and Razer wireless products I use, I easily experience interference from Wi-Fi, other USB devices, or even reasons I haven't figured out yet. According to what I've found on Reddit, others have this issue too. Of course, this doesn't make the wireless bad, as it may occur in certain situations. I didn't have any interference issues with the G PRO.

The clicks have a nice feel, not too light and not too hard, and their travel distance is fine. I haven't had any double-clicking issues like with the G Pro.

The big negative for me, which if we weren't talking about a 35€ mouse, would give it endless stars, is the mouse feet. Logitech isn't generally known for its mouse feet, even in its new mice (except for the G303 Shroud), but these are overly thin and small, making them incredibly quirky about what mousepad I can use and even when I use the 'perfect' mousepad for it, I feel like they're scratching on the mousepad. I recommend changing the mouse feet 100% to anyone who wants to keep the mouse.

Finally, while it suits many, it didn't take me too long to get used to it, and even after I did, I still felt like it didn't fit me. Of course, I've received positive feedback from several people with small palms and few negatives, so I guess if you have small palms, you'll accept it!

Overall, the mouse is fine for its 35€ price tag! But as I said, the must-change things for me are: the battery to be lithium, either AA or AAA. If you go for the latter, also buy an adapter. PTFE mouse feet like Corepad, for example.

If you have a medium palm and want an economical wireless mouse, I might recommend the Razer Orochi V2. It's quite close to the 305's philosophy, but personally, I consider it superior in shape, lighter, PTFE mouse feet, better switches, but it costs 20€ more.

The mouse started double-clicking 1.5 months after the warranty expired. It was never dropped or hit. The irony of the situation is that my older mouse, the G9, continues to work after 10+ years.

A year and a half later, it still holds up well, I've only changed the battery (1xAA) 3 times. Good quality obviously and very convenient for me. No issues with the click/scroll wheel so far

Placing the wireless adapter behind the tower may cause disconnections of 1" possibly due to interference. An extension cable is also provided so that if you don't have a USB port somewhere in the front, you can pull a cable from the back. You can get a cheap battery charger and batteries to have on hand. At first, it may feel light but you will get used to it. It can also become lighter by using AAA batteries with a plastic adapter that converts them to AA.

Absolutely satisfied with the mouse. There is no issue in terms of latency.

Its battery is amazing, I have had it for 1 year, I have changed the batteries only once and they are still full since I changed them.

Satisfactory weight and size for a person with large hands and fingers

Meh. Mediocre. It feels a bit flimsy, you don't feel it sturdy in its plastics. Use it with a rechargeable battery, it lasts a long time (8-hour work and gaming). After 1 year, the Logitech logo that rests on the palm faded. Reliable wifi adapter, but otherwise nothing special.

With so many good ratings, I must have been one of the few unlucky ones because I bought 2 and both broke, but indeed, while they worked, they were remarkable mice for their price.

The problems that arise over time are explained in the video below by Daniel Owen https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Soi59s6y6Fc&t=393s

For the 34 euros it costs now on sale, it is perfect. Slightly small for hands over 18 centimeters tall.
BEWARE of the misleading good cable! It does not connect to the mouse to charge the battery!!! Don't waste 10 euros on 4 rechargeable batteries like I did. The mouse accepts a regular battery and the cable is there to extend the transmitter and bring it closer to the mouse to reduce interference.

Very good mouse, lightweight and small. The only negative is that it doesn't work without a battery, meaning you can't connect it with a cable.

Owner of the G305 since the summer of 2022, for the money it asks, it is excellent, but I did not escape the double clicking which appeared in August 2024. I followed the classic method of disassembling the mouse and cleaning it, but unfortunately, it did not solve the problem, so I will have to replace the switches. I find it unacceptable for a modern mouse to have such problems, while the mx500 that I have had for almost 20 YEARS (you might say now that it perhaps compares to the best mouse ever released with this...) works perfectly....

super lightweight. not really noisy. very fast, and swift connection. has many options for customization. side buttons can be annoying sometimes, because you are clicking them often without intention at the beginning. it's really annoying while browsing, but I got used to it quickly. other than that I don't see any issues with this mouse, it's fantastic.

Incredible mouse and really very budget-friendly. It was purchased for around 33 euros, it's been a while since then, I think I received it in February. I had no idea that Bluetooth mice are so good. Great battery life, about 1 month, and with a low battery indicator long before it starts to die so you have time to change it. Very responsive and suitable for anything you have in mind to do since it also has side buttons for macros. Ideally, I would like it to be a little "shorter" at the bottom so that my hand doesn't have to lift. A bit more flat, that is, but heaven forbid I have a complaint... I've already forgotten the previous one.

The scroll wheel compared to the Wired Logitech G203 I had doesn't make as much noise, if any at all. But in reality, everything will make even the slightest noise with friction.

And the best part is that it's worth the money and is very useful for FPS Shooters, and overall the fact that it doesn't have a cable on it is incredibly convenient.

There's no reason why someone shouldn't get it if they want something lighter, something comfortable to hold, and something more comfortable to move and more efficient.

Of course, with more money, you can get a better mouse, but for this price, you can't go wrong.

    5 for price-vfm.

4 overall as a mouse. Lightweight ergonomic but also quality for its price. There are definitely much more quality ones at a higher price.

The only negative is that for low latency you need to use the cable extender to be close to the mouse which automatically cancels the wireless part. But for casual use where latency doesn't bother you, it is a very good and honest vfm product.

    I have bought 3.

Perfect. No problem, the battery lasts for 6 months without a change and in collaboration with the G Hub, it is fantastic in games since you can create setups with DPI and various other things for every game you play, as it detects them directly. Get it.

I think the price is a bit steep for the final product, but overall it's worth the money. It could be 10-20€ lower. The buttons sound a bit, it's quite light in weight, and in terms of battery life, I've had it on for almost 2 months continuously and the battery still hasn't dropped below half according to the G Hub
