Having read the comments of other buyers, I took size 39.5 instead of 40 which I usually wear, and they fit perfectly.
The shoe is a timeless classic, for a walk, for a drink, for anything. You should get them one size smaller for sure because they have a wide fit and it's better to avoid long walks as they are not a proper athletic shoe!! Otherwise, it's absolutely beautiful and elegant.
I usually wear a size 35 shoe, but this specific size 35 fits like a size 36. Others have mentioned this as well, as I can see. Buy it one size smaller than what you normally wear. With thick socks and tightening the laces, it stabilizes quite a bit. I personally added insoles so it wouldn't feel loose on me.

It is very beautiful, softer sole than I expected. However, it has a wider fit compared to all the other sneakers I wear, to the point where I might have needed to get a smaller size.
Exactly what you expect from All Stars. Comfortable wide fit, classic design, reliable quality. The insole is even more comfortable and soft in the double sole version, but still overpriced for canvas shoes.
I got it one size smaller than what I wear, the lining is a bit stiff, moderate comfort but it looks nice.
The best purchase I have made. They are very comfortable and have a much better sole than the classic all-stars.
