    The rules are simple and the reference card that each player has helps in organizing how to use their supplies, but at the same time it helps in developing strategy and critical thinking.
    The board and tiles are of good quality with beautiful illustrations. Similarly, the plastic pieces (settlements and ships) are also well-made.
    Overall, it is a game that I would highly recommend and it creates positive expectations for the regular Catan game, for those who have not played it yet.
