Some packages contain truly exceptional coffee that will satisfy even the most demanding consumers, while others, as some comments suggest, are below average.
Even within the same package, there may be variation in the taste of the coffee, from cup to cup.
Okay, I can understand that not all harvests are the same. Especially from year to year, location, climate, etc. The packaging contains harvests from different locations. However, such a large deviation in taste is not encountered even in tomatoes!
The positive thing is that most packages contain excellent coffee.
Personally, I will not change it, but I cannot give it 5 stars either.P.S. I always drink the coffee plain and hot. Therefore, even the slightest difference is noticeable.

It has low acidity and a rich flavor with a hazelnut aroma.. I use 16 grams of coffee and extract it in 25 seconds for 25-30 grams of espresso.. Generally, it requires a tight extraction.

Did you find this review helpful?Well done to Lavazza! Judging the coffee for what it is, a blend of 100% Arabica beans from Latin America, I consider it excellent and I am completely satisfied. This coffee is NOT:
- bitter and heavy, like many cheap blends in cafes that also contain a lot of Robusta and are mainly used to "disappear" in milk foam and sugar.
- very acidic, intense, and one-dimensional, as one would expect from a typical single-origin Arabica.
But what is it then? It is a very aromatic, smooth, and "rounded" coffee. The beans, although they appear dark and quite oily, are not very roasted but rather medium.
Aroma: 4.5/5 Very intense and pleasant. It smells like chocolate and a little caramel immediately. Also, at the end, there is a sweeter scent that reminds me of some fruit, but I haven't exactly identified it yet. (maybe apricot? vanilla? peach?)
Body: 3.5/5 I feel that the body is just right, not too full but not weak either.
Acidity: 3/5 Moderate acidity, doesn't overshadow the sweetness of the coffee. Personally, I find it ideal for my taste, as intense acidity in coffee is not for everyday moments but for special occasions.
Flavor: 4/5 Very pleasant, rounded flavor. First, there is chocolate (especially when it is very hot), but as it cools down, a little more nutty flavor emerges. In the aftertaste, I also detected toasted notes.
In conclusion, for my taste, I consider it the best coffee from Lavazza that I have tried so far, and one of the best 100% Arabica blends along with Illy's. It is definitely worth its money, and I will buy it frequently.Translated from Greek ·- Taste
