  Full disclosure, I received it today so I will share my first impressions.

  TL:DR Quite good and quality but a little bit expensive.

  If you have time to kill:

  • Metal construction (or something similar) sturdy and gives a quite premium feel.

  • USB 3.1 speed is now technical stuff, I don't know, check other reviews. I transferred 27GB in about 15 minutes.

  • Temperature got quite warm during the transfer but not to the point where you can't hold it. I believe the construction plays a crucial role. If it were plastic... we would have something to talk about (see some plastic Sandisk ones that melt for some). After 2 minutes it cooled down just fine.

  • Size, see the photo, clearly compact - I believe ideal. Neither a bulky thing nor a pea that you need binoculars to find.

  • Price, well here you lose us a bit Samsung. Maybe I don't know the market well enough but 25 and 30€ for this, I don't know how much you can call it VFM. I got it for 17€ from a deal which I believe is the ideal price for it. I mean, up to 20€ max. If you are unlucky like me, wait a bit in case the price drops. Until that moment comes, 4 stars.

  Having had the 128GB (still alive and kicking) for 3 years, I decided to go for the largest in the series to gain double the speed in write. No matter how much data I tried to write all this time, the speed (especially with large files) remained steady at 110MB/sec. It's not discouraged by anything!
  Another great asset is its durability. And when I say durability, it withstood a wash in the washing machine at 1400 rpm and a fall from the third floor (that's when I discovered it) when I was hanging clothes. It still works, as if nothing happened!

  Beautiful construction but disappointing performance.
  Non-linear recording with values ranging from 40 to 65mb/s. For 3 seconds it records at 95mb/s and immediately drops to an average of 50mb/s.
  At this capacity, one can achieve much higher performance with comparable reliability.
  This is probably why the company does not mention the recording speed anywhere, only the reading speed.
  In this price range, one can find recording speeds ranging from 200 to 400mb/s.
  It's a shame because I like the company's products.

  4/2020: The color has faded heavily in many areas beyond the slot, and the speed has disappointed me in many short-length files. A 5-year-old USB stick from another company is much faster

  I had doubts about the speed mentioned by another user for the 32GB version, but in the end, my trust in the manufacturing company prevailed.

  The speed test I performed with gnome-disk-utility 3.30.2 as soon as I got it, gave the following results:
  Average read rate: 211.0 MB/sec
  Average write rate: 48.1 MB/sec
  Average access time: 0.17 msec

  I definitely recommend it as significantly better than similar devices.

  Συμπέρασμα:

  Ενα αστέρι αφαιρέθηκε λόγω της χαμηλής ταχύτητας Write στην συγκεκριμμένη κατηγορία τιμής. Είναι κρίμα ενώ έχει πολύ καλή ταχύτητα Read, να γραφει σε τόσο χαμηλή ταχύτητα σε USB 3.1 Gen 1. Σε αυτή την τιμή αγοράζεις SSD 128GB οπότε θεωρω ότι έπρεπε να πιάνει τουλάχιστον 50MB/s.
  Οσο για την αξιοπιστία του, ο χρόνος θα δείξει....

  * Το κουτί της συσκευασιας γράφει "Speed up to 200 MB/s" (προφανως εννοεί μόνο ταχύτητα αναγνωσης), ενώ στο site της Samsung (τουλάχιστον την παρούσα ημερομηνία) αναφέρει "Up to 300 MB/s".
  ** Προσέξτε το "USB 3.1" όταν δεν συνοδευεται από το Gen 2 (να αναγράφει δηλαδή USB 3.1 Gen2) είναι το ίδιο με USB 3.0.
  Απορώ πως στο Skroutz τους επιτρέπουν να κατηγοριοποιούν το προιόν ως USB 3.1, ενώ υπάρχει ξεχωριστή κατηγορια για USB 3.0 και USB 3.1. Εφόσον το skroutz διαφοροποιει το USB 3.0 σε σχέση με το USB 3.1 στα φίλτρα κατηγοριοποίησης, αυτό συνεπάγεται ότι όποιο προιόν μπαίνει στο USB 3.1 είναι USB 3.1 Gen2. Αυτό δεν ισχύει όμως με αποτέλεσμα την παραπληροφόρηση του καταναλωτή. (Αυτό δεν συμβαίνει μόνο στα USB Flash Drives της Samsung, το ίδιο γίνεται και για αλλές μάρκες).
