    pete 1 is plastic, not 7! I'm also attaching a photo where it is clearly visible. It's the same material they use for convenience store bottles. It definitely remains plastic!

    We bought this bottle based on various reviews praising its convenience and practicality! However, nowhere did it mention that the bottle is made of type 7 plastic, which is DANGEROUS for health!!! Read for yourselves!
    Type 7: Polycarbonate - Hazardous

    You should avoid plastic containers with this substance, as they may contain bisphenol-A, which is gradually released into their contents. These plastics often have the symbol "Y" or the label "Other" on them. You will find them in large refrigerator water bottles, hard, reusable water bottles, and plastic coffee cups. Manufacturers use polycarbonate for these products because it is nearly impossible to break.
