A high-quality product, the Ace A55 is positioned as one of the most economical SSD models. With the advanced SATA III 6Gb/s interface and affordable price, you can now easily upgrade your old computer without spending a fortune.
Are you still wasting valuable time when booting up your computer or loading applications? Then it's time to get rid of your old hard drive and switch to an SSD. With the SATA III 6Gb/s interface, the Ace A55 can boot your computer or launch applications within seconds.
Equipped with an original controller and 3D NAND flash, the Ace A55 can not only guarantee stability and durability. It also offers excellent performance that allows for a quick 10-second boot, shorter application load times, and higher data transfer speeds. Whether you are surfing the Internet, enjoying a good movie, or need to handle documents, the Ace A55 will provide you with a smooth, lag-free experience.
A bad block management (BBM) mechanism detects and marks bad blocks to avoid storing data in these blocks and to eliminate access errors. And, even if errors occur in new blocks during an erase operation, this mechanism can move the data to other effective blocks to prevent data loss resulting from the failed erase.
The Ace A55 is one of the lightest and thinnest SSDs of its kind, yet it is shock-resistant because it contains no moving parts. Equipped with SMART monitoring system and ECC (error correction code) technology, it also promises higher data transmission security.
The automatic copying technology of the Ace A55 allows automatic copying operations from the SLC cache to the 3D NAND Flash within the NAND without using the controller or DDR. This supports higher performance by reducing the workload of the controller and DRAM.

I have the above hard drive for about 2 years, fully reliable, I have written about 10/50 TB Limit, with crystal diskmark benchmark it reached 530 mb read and 480 write (for 1gb files) which for such a cost (42 euros then, unlike something around 70 from samsung) I laughed like a dragon... I might get a second one to make a nice raid and go crazy :P
EDIT 19/3/2023:
It still holds up strong with 100% health and I have it to keep the operating system of my computer (Windows 10 64 bit Professional).
EDIT 24/5/2024 (see photo):
89% health, has never failed, no black screen or blue screen etc
After 1 week of use, it is permanently at 100% usage and it is dragging. Neither formatting nor any online fix changed anything.
Very good, I have one that works 24/7 in NAS as cache and one as metadata and this one 24/7, the drives have been like this for about 4 months. No one has made a sound at all.
For the money it costs and the job it does, I believe it is what it promises and was made for... if you want a "huge" upgrade for an old system or laptop or a decent drive for a new system and reliable, here you are...
I have gotten several of these drives, so far they seem reliable (about 6 months of use). Make sure to back up your data, + lists of the files you have on the drives. I have gotten a protective case and connect them via USB. Unfortunately, computers on USB 3 support fewer than 16 actual connections while on USB 2 many more.
I bought 3x 128 GB (2 for use and one spare) and one 256 GB for upgrading old laptops. It is quite a fast hard drive for its price. The bad news is that the two 128 GB ones "died" after 4 months for one and 13 months for the other (now we will see the third one). No heavy usage, usually light gaming.
The 256 GB one was put in a laptop that simply surfs the internet and watches YouTube, and it still runs smoothly.
Conclusion: it is very good for simple everyday tasks. For intense read/write, I will prefer a more popular manufacturer.
We were sent 16 pieces of the specific disk to work on, in 128 and 256gb, and within the quarter, the PCs started coming in for repair as they were slow and getting stuck. Their health is dramatically and abruptly declining, and most of them are now at 50-60% due to damaged sectors, and I already have 7 disks to return and another 2-3 waiting their turn with 85 and 90% health. Similarly, other "cheap" disks are working flawlessly for over a year.
Unacceptable after six months of non-daily use, literally dragging...
Entered as an operating system disk in Linux - specifically in Debian & Fedora.
Input time around 3-5 seconds.... Incredible little disk....
I recommend it to you.
What you need for a laptop that you don't care about losing your data, it resurrects them on a Linux machine with xfce 15.
No problem!
It does what it promises. At a good price. I don't think you need to spend more money to buy a more "branded" one. Good construction and as for its reliability, I will come back once it has been tested for a period of time.
Update: The cloning program (NTI Echo) that comes with the disk via the website quickly and flawlessly does its job, without errors.
He did not even provide the basic copying program (migrate, clone, etc.) through the manufacturer's website.
I bought it 3 days ago. Its speeds are very low for an SSD after the clone I did... 309 read and 219 write.
Whoever you take, sad, it will be a good investment for the PC now because this specific one has not caused me any problems yet. I have had it for a week, it is fast and cheap. It will show in the future
After almost 4 years of almost daily use, it works without any problems. Health shows to be at 78% and remaining life at 90.84% as you can see in the images. It has lasted longer than a conventional disk.
