Description

A surf casting rod with a sensitive tip that reveals even the slightest nibble and is ideal for any casting fishing on any seabed. It is a five-section model made of HMC carbon, with progressive parabolic action, 4 fixed rings for long casting distance.

High Modulus Carbon

The manufacturing process of High Modulus Carbon is a technique where the carbon fiber receives additional wrapping from High Modulus carbon fibers. As a result, the rod's Blank offers higher stiffness that exceeds 55 MSI. Naturally, the innovative High Modulus Carbon technique retains all the characteristics of regular Carbon. That is, it offers very low weight and high durability.

Sic guides

Guide construction technology in fishing rods. They are made of stainless steel, maintaining excellent durability and zero wear from the friction of the fishing line over time. It is worth noting that the Sic guides contain polished diamond, thus reducing heat from the fishing line.

    I've had it for about 10 months and I've fished with it about 20 times using a 60-gram weight, always sardine and monofilament. Normal casts, not aggressive, it broke at the handle. The disappointment was great because a couple of Chinese rods I have here for 10 years haven't made a sound, of course they aren't fished often and have never been washed after fishing, unlike the other branded ones I have. I definitely won't buy the same one again and I'll probably think twice about choosing an Oceanic rod again.

    Having the fishing rod since the summer of 2022, I have done over 35-40 fishing trips and yet it still feels like new. Its guides have never been damaged since I bought it. It performs quite well with a weight of about 100g, reaching approximately 90 meters, and if you are skilled, it can go even further. It has caught a 2kg sea bream, a 1kg sea bass, and many fish weighing between 500-1000g with great ease. I use it with the Atom 10000 reel from Oceanic, creating an affordable and reliable set. Finally, I have to say that in my opinion, it is the best fishing rod I have ever held in my hands, and for the price range of 40-55 euros, it is definitely worth it!!!!

    Third fishing and the rod broke at the handle during the shot execution with a 100-gram weight and without ever using a heavier weight... without falling, without being hit, without experiencing the slightest misbehavior, since I am the only one who touches them and takes care of them like my own eyes.
    Furthermore, I am not an ignorant person, I know where everything hurts and I can calculate the force for everything...
    I just hope that the new one will withstand more...
    What a shame... I was very disappointed, I have Chinese rods that cost a third of the price and they have endured many more fishing trips and I don't see them experiencing anything in the future...
